Prodigy (Series)

The Prodigy series is a reboot of the That One Series With a Long and Uninteresting Name That I Do Not Wish to Remember (also known as the Unten series) games and is part of the canon used for the New Fantendoverse and Fantendo Smash Bros. Shattered. The series was directed and created by Exotoro ^(t∣b∣c) as a reimagining of Unten's original adventures on Zeon, which introduced several new characters and plot elements from the original concepts done by YoshiEgg ^(t∣b∣c) and Plumber ^(t∣b∣c).

The series is named after the expectations put on Unten after a prophecy states he will defeat the evil and villainous Doomulus Grime. In Fantendo Smash Bros. Shattered, it was explained that the original events of the stories were altered through Unten's Catalyst abilities, which he wished not to remember due his own cowardice being the reason why Zeon exploded. Later stories in the New Fantendoverse explore as to whether this would have even worked or whether Unten was even as much at fault given the low chance that his sacrifice would have even had in the saving in Zeon.

The goal of this series was not to make Unten the boring heroic character that he was prior to this series, but add depth by giving him failures to regret and build off.
