- Upon reaching Level 10, Confworm will see which of these types of moves it was hit with most recently: Poison, Ice, or Fire. If it was most recently hit by a Poison Type Move, it will evolve into a Toxic Form Metacoon. If it was most recently hit by a Ice Type Move, it will evolve into a Chilly Form Metacoon. If it was most recently hit by a Fire Type Move, it will evolve into a Smolder Form Metacoon. If it has never been hit by any of these moves, it will not evolve, and will attempt to evolve again upon leveling up.

New Moves[]
- Awakening Burst: Base Power 75. Special Move. Targets all Adjacent Pokemon. When this move is used, it shifts Gargrain from Slumbering to Awakened forme or vice versa. When Gargrain is slumbering, this is a Psychic Type Move. When Gargrain is Awakened, this is a Water Type Move.
- Tenacity: Base Power 20. Fighting Type Special Move. This move's Base Power increases by 20 for every negative stat change the user has accumulated.
New Abilities[]
- Serpentine: Raises Speed upon knocking out an enemy Pokemon.
- Headstrong: This Pokemon's Attack is raised by 30%. All moves used by this Pokemon do 12.5% Recoil Damage.
- Eyes On Me: This Pokemon is always the center of attention.
- Mind Games: Raises the Pokemon's Special Attack at the end of the turn.
- Icy Armor: Raises Defense by 20% in Hail.
- Sure-Footed: Halves damage taken from moves on the turn it switches in.
New Items[]
- Bizarre Box: A small box full of unstable-looking machinery. It is beloved by a certain Pokemon.
- Dusknoirite: Allows Dusknoir to Mega Evolve.
- Sunflorite: Allows Sunflora to Mega Evolve.
- Mamoswinite: Allows Mamoswine to Mega Evolve.
- Reuniclus: Allows Reuniclus to Mega Evolve.
- Shiftrite: Allows Shiftry to Mega Evolve.
Changes to Old Moves and Abilities[]
- Pure Power has been removed. All Pokemon that previously had Pure Power as their ability now have Huge Power instead.
- Fishious Rend's Base Power is now 70 (was 85).
- Bolt Beak's Base Power is now 70 (was 85).
- Ancient Power now has base 10 PP, with a maximum of 16 PP (was 5 max 8).
- Gorilla Tactics now boosts the Pokemon's attack by 30% (was 50%).
