Go on a journey through the Orange Islands and Sevii Islands. Deliver the GS Ball to Professor Ivy and discover its mysteries. Meet and discover new Pokémon. Be the first to try out the Pokégear.

After that, Professor Oak tells Red and Green about the Orange League and Sevii League. Blue, having heard what Oak just said about the journey, wants to go, so his Pokédex is upgraded as well. Red, Green, and Blue go on the S.S. Anne to the Orange Islands and the game begins.
