Request34c-Pokemon Aqua

Pokémon Nature, Pokémon Flare, and Pokémon Aqua are all the main-series games for Generation VIII in the Pokémon Franchise. This is the first time where the game was being developed by more than Game Freak, as they are partnering with FlameKing Enterprises to develop the generation. Their will be approximately 130 New Pokémon (at least), a new Region which goes back to the olden ways of Pokémon (with Eight Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and the Champion). Among going back to most of the basics, there will still be plenty off new gameplay-changing mechanics (along with the introduction of two new typings, Robotic & Sound), along with HD Graphics, and so on. The game will launch on the Nintendo Switch January 2018.

Gameplay[]

The gameplay is pretty similar to that of Black & White, but with the Graphics of Sun & Moon. The games return to being with the camera constantly at over-head view, to more closely resemble how the original games were. Battles also more closely resemble that of the original, with the HD Graphics now included. Pokemon can learn up to six moves, and you can have eight Pokemon in your party at once, to make players feel a little less limited. Back to the battles, the battle backgrounds are now replaced with just the camera angle switching from over-head to shoulder view, to make things seem a little more realistic. You can also shout commands for your Pokemon to counter or dodge attacks mid-battle, to resemble the anime a little more. For cut scenes, however, it wont be overhead view, and some cut scenes include voice acting (similar to how there's only voice acting sometimes in Breath of the Wild).

Single & Double Campaigns[]

You can choose to go through the story mode single player, or you can have a second player join in as your sibling. This, however, does remove some of the things the main game has (such as some of the cut scenes, Starter's Bond, etc.)

éPhone[]

The éPhone is a new feature that replaces the PokéDex and the PokéGear. The professor downloads a PokéDex App onto your phone that let's you scan Pokémon into it, with or without catching it. It can also let you contact past trainers you went up against to re-challenge them. You can also download tons of Pokémon Music (for PokéDollars of course) and Games! I

EPhone

t also comes with some of the features of the Poketch from the Sinnoh games.

PokéCare[]

PokéCare is kind like an HD combination of Pokémon X & Y's Pokémon-Amie and Super Training. Here you can feed, pet, and train your Pokémon in a 3D space. You can also walk around with your Pokémon here, as you are in a 3D space, instead of being stuck in front of it. You can play ball and other games too!

PokéBall Interior[]

You can buy items from the store behind the Pokémon Center (the two also have doors that lead into one another) to decorate the inside of your Pokémon's PokéBall! Each item has a different typing, and specific Pokémon like speciffic things. Different items are found in different stores, so some may have items that other stores do not. This can raise the happiness of your Pokémon, as well as lower it, depending on if it likes what you place or not. Each type of PokéBall has a different amount of storage, so be warry of this!

Choose your Own Path[]

For the first time in Pokémon History, YOU can decide what you want to do! You can become Battle or Performance Champion, and later in the story, you can even choose to join the bad guys, Team Star (this will cancel post game stuff, except going to the islands).

Pokémon Performance Contests[]

A replacement to Pokémon Contests, there are nine contest halls in the region (not including post-game). Each Performance Contest (except for the final one) is a certain contest element (i.e. Beauty, Clever, Scary, etc.). It starts with you having a minuet do dress up your Pokémon according to the theme. Afterwards, a dance section starts. You pick a downloaded song from your éPhone, and your Pokémon will dance to that song, as you call out moves for it to use. After that, you get judged. Two judges will rate you on a scale from one to ten, while the third judge (known as the head or host judge) will rate you on a scale from one to twenty. All three judges will judge based on the outfit, the song, and the dance-moves performed. Then, all the points will be added up. Whoever has the most points wins.

Types[]

The type chart has been re-done, with Ghost now being weak to Water (due to it being a flowing liquid moving through a "gassious" substance) And Psychic being strong against steel (due to bending spoons with mind powers). Each type now gets their own specific emblem and color, as shown in the table bellow.

To accompany the two new types, Robotic and Sound, there was a new type chart created. It is as follows:

Location[]

The games take place in the Sondar Region, a region west of Unova and east of Alola. It has more of a Californian feel, but has some influences from other places too, as well as having some exaggerations  of some of the climates (Like Crystalice Mountain).

For the post-game story, you can go to the Angeles Islands, which will have a minor league for you to play through.

Story[]

Chapter One: Getting a Starter Pokémon[]

The story starts out with Professor Cypress introducing the player to the world of Pokémon, with him informing the player that they love battling,  and that they have different elemental powers, showing off all twenty types when he does so.  After that (and letting the player chose his/her name and character), it is revealed that the player and his/her sibling are watching together on the player's éPhone. The professor exclaims that he'll be patiently awaiting all of the new trainers tomorrow at Scienetic Town. After it ends, your sibling (who's the opposite trainer from the one you picked) exclaims that they can't wait to get their new Pokémon! The mom comes upstairs and tells them since they're done listening to the app, to go to bed, since they have a big day tomorrow. They both go to their own separate beds, and go to sleep.

When they wake up, they get dressed (choosing between a few options), and head downstairs. They get breakfast and talk about how they're so excited to perform or battle, depending on what they told the professor they wanted to do. Afterwards, they clean up, and start heading towards Scienetic Town, just south of the town they live in, Naggoron Town. Upon arrival at the lab, you get to enter, and Professor Cypress greets you. He introduces himself, and mentions how he expected a third... But he moves on, reveals the starters, and lets whoever the girl is go first (however, despite this, P1 gets to go first no mater what, as if P1 isn't the female, the other will say "Oh, they're all too good!") The player then gets to pick between Thorcera, Ashow, or Squiduid. Upon doing so, the sibling (unless it's 2P) picks the weaker one. A Third person comes into the room, named Jason/Jabelle, apologizes for being late, mocks the other two for their choice, and picks what they claim is the best of the three. After being able to have a battle with the two (individually), and get the option of a tutorial for Pokémon (i.e., how to catch them, use Pokémon Centers, etc.) Afterwards, your parents come for one last final goodbye, along with Jason/Jabelle's grandma. They all then get the choice of going either on to Route 3, or going back home/to Route 2 (however, going on to Route 2 gives nothing to the story).

If the player goes back home, their parents will give them either a Flaraurau a Supurr (depending on the gender). (Also, how many there are depends on number of players and their genders.)

Heading on to Route 3, once they reach the end of the route, their sibling is there waiting, who tells them of their two possible choices to go on, one being a longer route through the Nordalon Forest, or a shorter, harder route through Hardrock Cave. After making a decision, at the end of whichever path you chose, you end up in Nordalon City. A group of people have met up, and so you decide to go and check out what it's all about. The people on the podium call themselves Team Star, and that their top scientists have conducted research and found that Pokémon are becoming extremely aggressive. Some of the scientists there confirm this to be true, and say that they're become hostile because of human interaction, trapping them in PokéBalls, forcing them to do things, etc. The main speaker, an admin by the name of Darvin, speaks about how Orange Inc. has tried to solve the problem with PokéBall Interior Decorations, but it doesn't seem to be working as well as they had hoped. They ask for the peoples support in moving east for Unova. People start to talk to each other, discussing this claim, when someone runs in and asks for help, as his Pokémon Gym is being attacked! Everyone runs over to see a Dragula wrecking havoc on the gym. You step forward, and it notices! The battle against the first Boss Pokémon, Dragula, starts! After defeating the boss, It flies off into the distance, and everyone cheers. The Gym Leader, who's name is Aiden, thanks you personally, and offers you the chance to come into his gym any time for a battle that he hopes they wont soon forget. He enters into his gym, to await for your challenge.

Chapter Two: Make Way for Your Journey[]

After winning your badge, you make your way to Pardaway Town, where you find your sibling, who talks about how that town ways known not only for its crossroads, but also for goodbyes. Your sibling wants one last battle, and afterwards, decides to go North. You are left to go wherever you want.

Upon entering into the Gorgieous City Gym, you find that the leader isn't there, but is instead out in the meadows. Upon going out to find her, she talks about an unseen beauty that most don't see. However, she's cut a little short when an unseen Pokémon rushes past her, and members of Team Star approach, along with Darvin. They question her, and a grunt threatens a battle, but Darvin keeps him under control, and says that they don't want eny trouble. She tells them that they are to leave, and they do. She agrees to meet you back at the gym, and she'll be ready to accept your challenge. Ater defeating Floria in Gorgieous City, your sibling calls to tell you that they're stuck in a mansion, and can't see a thing! She claims to see something, and mysteriously hangs up. After going to the Mansion outside Midnight Town, you find your sibling in front of a Monstramps, and the boss fight against it begins. Afterwards, the lights in the mansion go on, and your sibling thanks you, and the Monstramps reveals its nice side, as it was just trying to protect the mansion. You and your sibling part together, leaving the place in peace.

Whenever your Starter evolves (if its type is the same as the title of the game) and uses its new ability (called Starter's Bond), you pass out after battle, only to wake up on the ground and see a man standing over you. He apologizes for being so close, and says that he was interested in the battle, but when he saw you pass out, he got worried and came over to help. He then goes on to introduce himself as Professor Pine, and has been studying for a new kind of evolution similar to this. He asks if you would be willing to come and check this out in his lab back on Route 4, by Contelus City. If you come, he puts you through a few tests, and exclaims that you have he spirit of nature, flare, or aqua inside of you (depends on the game you got), and that your starter has an ability that reacts with it if your bond is strong enough. He encourages you to keep trying it, pushing to perfect it, and to keep in contact with him. Right before you leave, however, he warns you that the other two spirits are out there as well.

On the way to Knisheave City, in the ruins right outside, you find a man by the name of Giddion, who claims that trouble seems to be lingering. Not too long later, you two find members of Team Star stealing an ancient artifact from the ruins: the Ruby's Crown. After fighting them in a double battle, they run off. On your way out of the ruins, there are more members of Team Star, waiting for a fight. After defeating all of them, Giddion congratulates you and wishes you the best of luck in your journey. Later, after challenging the Knisheave City Gym, at the end of the tournament, it's revealed that Giddion was the Gym Leader all along! After a battle, he proudly presents you with your badge. After going outside however, you see an Absol, who rushes off. Giddion comes outside and, after being told about the Absol, says that Absol don't live in the region, and that you might be a little tired from battling. He encourages you to go to the Pokémon Center to heal up. After healing up, you decide to go and hike through Mount. Quake.

To Be Continued!
