Silkbyx (Japanese: Kenbikusu, ケンビクス) is a pure Bug-type Pokémon. It evolves into Pupalk at level 12 and then into Mothread at level 19.
Biology[]
It has a segmented, long white body with small black suction cup legs. It also has black markings on its face and small white yellow eyes.
Abilities[]
Silkbyx, while appears fragile, is able to use its silk in multiple ways such as restraining foes and building up it's own defenses.
Behavior[]
It prefers to be alone or with others of it's own kind. When threatened, it will release its silk in an attempt to slow down its attacker or protect itself from damage.
Diet[]
Onionymph feeds mostly on leaves, fruits, and other leafy matter.
Habitat[]
It can be found in grasslands and forests.

Silkbyx is based off from silk and bombyx mori which happens to be the scientific name.
ケンビクス is based off from 絹 kinu (another way to say "silk")and ボムビクス・モリ bomubikusu mori (the Japanese pronunciation of the scientific name).
