"Pokémon Dust and Smoke" is the first season of the anime series of the same name, based on the Pokémon games: Pokémon Dust and Smoke. In this season, Ash Ketchum and Pikachu meet new friends along the way, such as Avani, a determined Pokémon Trainer, and Nakir, a Pokémon detective fascinated about the region of Ruhno. Along the way, Ash challenges the Gym Leaders while Nakir focuses on the wild Pokémon appearing in the region, as well as catching Deoxys. Ash and Avani get rivals: Kit and Naturin for Ash, while Diana for Avani. Aside for their goals, the group discovers about the legendaries from Team Alnitak who are recurring characters, as well as Dustolough and Smokuthumia themselves in visions.
