Pokémon Concert

Pokémon Concert [Name Pending] is an upcoming Pokémon Game for the Nintendo Switch, it is a collaborative effort game, so feel free to pitch any ideas you may have for each part of the game. As with previous Pokémon Games this is a Turn-Based Role-Playing Game where the player controls a character going on a journey across their region to collect, battle, trade, evolve and befriend Pokémon throughout.

Free to edit! Anyone can add to this, provided they follow our rules and don't add bad joke content.

Guide & Rules for Editing

This is a collaborative effort and as such people are encouraged to post their ideas in the relevant sections below, please note however that;

1. Most Sections will start out with a Orange Header this means this section is currently taking suggestions, this is to get the basic skeleton framework of that section up so if you have suggestions relating to that section feel free to submit them.
   • Once a section transitions to a Yellow Header this means the section is no longer taking suggestions and either is about to have or currently has a poll up where the community can vote on what that section's main theme (such as where a Region is located, a Rival Character, etc.). Please do not edit these sections while the Yellow Header is present.
   • Finally, after the section's title turns into a Green Header this means you may freely edit to add your own ideas to that section.
2. Please follow basic guidelines as to what is expected in each section per the submission of a suggestion or when you're editing to add your own ideas, this is outlined at the top of each section for clarification. If you fail to meet the basic quality requirements for your ideas they will be scrubbed.
   • If you repeatedly attempt to re-add deleted content from the article then you may be disqualified from editing the article.
   • All content should be added in its complete form, incomplete content will be deleted so please do not add an idea you've only half thought through.
3. You may add any ideas you have from other Pokémon Fan Games as long they're ideas you yourself came up with.
4. Some content may be deemed unsuitable and may be denoted with a "✝" by the article's owner, Shadow_Inferno ^(t∣b∣c) if the content is not changed within 24 hours then it will be removed.
   • If a "✝" is added by any other users then they may be disqualified from editing the article.
5. Please make sure you copy what you want to add to the page before you submit it for publication as there is the chance of Edit Conflicts, this also means please stick to editing just the section where you're putting relevant information and not the entire page.

Region

The Ulkorio Region is a large and varied region that acts as the setting of Pokémon Concert. The region is notably two landmasses which are separated by an inland sea as well as a series of mountains that formed as a result of the tectonic plates each landmass is on merging long ago. The player's hometown Saboson Town is located in the North-East quadrant of the region nestled between two smaller mountain ranges.

Similar to Kalos before it, the Ulkorio Region can be divided up into several areas; North-East, North-West, South-East and South-West although unlike Kalos Pokémon are not exclusively found in just one quadrant with some Pokémon appearing across multiple quadrants.

As with traditional Pokémon Regions, there is a Pokémon League and Eight Gym Leaders who the player must overcome to become the Pokémon League Champion. The Region is also comprised of numerous routes, divided along the aformentioned four areas of the region with some Routes being extremely open and explorable in a similar vein to Wild Areas.

Raiya - By Inferno

• Type Speciality: Water-Type
• Ace Pokémon: Battarlin - A Pokémon based off a Blue Marlin and a Swordfish, has a long hooked nose shaped similar to a Harpoon and has a large sailing fin which appears almost transparent but with net patterns along it. Pokémon's underside has a criss-cross pattern along it which has black and white sections.
• Character: A fisherman by nature, Raiya is in many ways a man of dualities as he can often appear laid-back out of the gym but can become intensely serious when fishing described as having a stone-hard gaze as well as when battling.
• TM Move: Wave Rush - Physical Water-Type move which hits all opponents, deals more damage if used the same turn as another Wave-based move (Wave Rush, Surf, Muddy Water)

Professor Billeter - By Dragoon

• Type Speciality: Steel-Type
• Ace Pokémon: Mechzahn - A mechanical recreation of a species that has been extinct for awhile, rumors say that Mechzahn resembles Raikou, however Mechzahn carries none of the electric power that Raikou is famous for having.
• Character: A cold and calculating professor, he studies the effects of machinery on nature and how it affects other Pokémon. Behind his cold exterior is a man who cares for his sick daughter Melissa and has been trying to work on machines to help take her mind off her sickness.
• TM Move: Steel Wire - A Steel-Type move, the user sets out steel wires all around the battlefield. The next grounded Pokémon to be sent out will be caught by the wires, having their movement restricted for a turn and being unable to switch out.

Fiore - By Alexs23743

• Type Speciality: Grass-Type
• Ace Pokémon: Olivrina - A humanoid olive tree with an olive skin tone. Said skin tone factors into its ability, Olive Skin: When Sunny Day is active, it tans and its Attack, Special Attack, and Speed increase, but if Rain Dance is active, it turns pale yellow and its HP, Defense, and Special Defense go up.
• Character: Fiore is a very adventurous woman who frequently goes on expeditions in swamps, jungles, and other "exotic" areas looking for unique wildlife. She is rumored to have roughly 151 different exotic species of flower.
• TM Move: Pollen - Grass-type weather-altering move that paralyzes, poisons, or puts to sleep all active Pokémon on the field (including the user), then does the same to any Pokémon that switches in. Only Grass-types and those with Overcoat can avoid the move altogether; Pokémon with a type or ability that prevents one status condition (i.e. Limber, Steel type, Insomnia) can avoid getting that status condition but are still vulnerable to the move.
