Plum is an amateur golfer from the Mario Golf series, who first appeared in the Nintendo 64 title Mario Golf. Plum is arguably the most popular of the basic human characters created by Camelot for the Mario Golf or Mario Tennis series, partly due to her appearing as collectibles within the Super Smash Bros. series.
Plum is one of the four default characters present in the Nintendo 64 Mario Golf, alongside Charlie, Princess Peach, and Baby Mario. Because of this, she serves as one of the most balanced golfers in the game. Though her strength is lacking, she possesses remarkable control over her shots.
Physical Appearance
Plum is a human girl who appears to be fairly young. She has short brown hair, which she ties into two pigtails that extend off the sides of her head. She wears a short-sleeved dark blue shirt that has a red collar, and black sorts that extend to her knees. Plum also wears a white golfer's glove on her right hand, with similarly-coloured socks. She also wears brown shoes with white toes, though artwork instead depicts them as entirely white in colour.
Due to the technical limitations of the Game Boy Color, Plum's cameo appearance in this handheld's Mario Golf title depicts her with a slightly different design, with her hair and shoes being recoloured red instead of brown.
