The Pichu Posse is a group of Pokémon friends led by the twin siblings Pichu Big and Pichu Little. The group doesn't seem to have any actual goals besides simply having fun by going on adventures in the Johto metropolis of Big Town and beyond. Their hideout is the Pokémon Playhouse, a fort made of tires that also serves as the Pichu Brothers' home.

The group technically first appeared in Pikachu & Pichu, the short that preceded the theatrical release of Pokémon 3: The Movie: Entei – Spell of the Unown. In this special episode, the Pichu Bros. meet Ash Ketchum's Pikachu and are chased around Big Town by Houndour and eventually causing the Pokémon Playhouse that they call home to topple over on top of that Pokémon.

The Pichu Posse's formal introduction is in the animated short Pichu Bros. in Party Panic, released through the Nintendo GameCube game Pokémon Channel. Overhearing the Meowth of Team Rocket's plans to throw a large party, the group try and track down invitations, only to learn that their's had simply not been delivered yet.

Members[]

The Pichu Posse seems to be made up of many friendly Wild Pokémon that live in Big Town. The members of the Pichu Posse were most prominently featured in Pichu Bros. in Party Panic. Azumarill, in addition to being Azurill's blood-related mother, appears to be a sort of motherly figure to the Pichu Bros. and the rest of the group.

Team Rocket's Meowth and members of the Squirtle Squad also seem to be allies of the Pichu Posse while a number of Ash Ketchum and Misty's Pokémon once befriended the Pichu Brothers, though it is unclear as to whether or not they are considered to be members of the Pichu Posse. It can be assumed however that they are not, as they do not reside in Big Town.

The main members of the Pichu Posse are considered to be the following Pokémon, while Houndour and Snorlax frequently appear alongside the rest of the group:

Fanon Appearances[]

Jake's Super Smash Bros.[]

The Pichu Posse appears as an unlockable assist in Jake's Super Smash Bros. The actual Assist Trophy item summons the Pichu Brothers, who call upon the rest of the Pichu Posse before being chased around by Houndour; touching any of the Pokémon deals damage to fighters besides the one who summoned them.
