Paintoombas are a hybrid of a Squirto Blooper and an Octoomba. Unlike Octoombas, they spit out inky goop, which causes Octo-Swoopin' Stus to appear. They can also spit lava which causes Fire Snakes to appear. Paintoombas moslty appear in harbors, grasslands, and volcanic areas. It is possible that Paintoombas were created by the Magic Paintbrush, as they appear to be synthetic, while regular Octoombas were naturally created.
