Oricorio (Japanese: オドリドリ Odoridori) is a Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation 7.
It doesn't evolve into or from any other Pokémon; however, it has four forms, each of which is mated to a specific island in Alola. It can also change forms freely by drinking certain Nectars.
- On Melemele Island or upon drinking Yellow Nectar, it assumes a cheerleader-like Pom-Pom Form, which is Electric/Flying.
- On Akala Island or upon drinking Pink Nectar, it assumes the hula dancer-like Pa'U Form, which is Psychic/Flying.
- On Ula'Ula Island or upon drinking Red Nectar, it assumes the flamenco-like Bailé Form, which is Fire/Flying.
- On Poni Island or upon drinking Purple Nectar, it assumes the geisha-like Sensu Style, which is Ghost/Flying.
Biology[]
It's based on a Hawaiian honeycreeper, a bird native to Hawaii that can adapt its beak to a specific type of flower.
Oricorio is the only known Pokémon that can learn Revelation Dance.
