The Omega XY is a new system made by the company Omega Games as part of Omega Games: Project Alpha. The system is set to release internationally (including the U.S., Japan, Europe, and Australia) on April 15, 2016 at a price tag of $49.99. The system is a slightly-chunky gaming tablet with the buttons and applications being very similar to Nintendo's Wii U.

The system is the first system in the world to have so-called "digital cartridges." When you go to a game store, you buy a game and the cashier downloads the game automatically to your system. To achieve this, players use "memory queues." Memory queues are words to help make sure the cashier downloads the game to the exact system. There are four memory queues; these include your first, middle, and last name as well as an alphanumeric password.

The company promised "original games with a touch of characters from other franchises" on the Omega XY. There are two launch titles for the system along with two titles with an undetermined release date. The non-launch titles are games for mature audiences.
