Nintendo vs. Capcom: Smash of Superstars is a crossover fighting video game being released only on Nintendo Switch. Despite being published by Nintendo, it is the first Capcom fighting game on a Nintendo system since Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition. A dual pack contaning the game and Nintendo vs. Capcom Investigations: Mystery of Superstars will also be released in limited quanities, but it is only available at retailers.

The game plays similar to Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes and Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars. Two teams of two characters fight until both characters from one team are defeated. A random Assist character is selected at the beginning of each battle and can be used a limited number of times. A meter also fills up while battling so characters can use Super Combos (which require one level on the Super Meter) and Ultra Combos (which require three levels of the Super Meter). Local and Online Multiplayer modes are also available.
