Nintendo Wiiboot[]
The Nintendo Wiiboot is a Nintendo console announced on September 8, 2022. It was released on February 26, 2023. It released with two bundle options, both with Wii Sports Vacation: White with two Wii Remotes and Nunchuks for $300, and Black with four Wii Remotes and Nunchuks for $400. The move to release a third option, Gray with just 1 Wii Remote and Nunchuk for $280, was met with some criticism by hardcore Nintendo fans who felt they were scammed into buying a more expensive option with more controllers than they needed, as the Gray Wiiboot was not announced until May 4th of that year and not released until the 28th. The sensor bar has been removed from the Wii design, as, like the Switch, the Wiiboot is a hybrid console that can switch between docked and handheld modes.

Wiiboot Mii Channel[]
Like previous consoles, the Wiiboot includes a Mii Channel, although it plays a role as important as on the original Wii rather than the subdued part played by the Switch's Mii Channel. In this new Mii Channel, you can now create pets for your Miis. Each pet can only be assigned to one Mii. There are 25 skins for pets: 8 dogs, 8 cats, 4 birds, 2 hamsters, a turtle, a lizard, and a snake. Additionally, multiple clothing options are available, although not many. This is because more clothing options, and even more pet skins, can be added to the Mii Channel through games. Many Wiiboot games, especially Wii Sports Vacation, include some outfits and pets just from purchasing the game, and more options if you complete achievements in-game.

Controller[]
The Wiiboot's Wii Remote and Nunchuk are very similar to the original Wii and Wii U versions, but there are still improvements. The Wii Remote features HD Rumble and speakers greatly superior to the originals. It also has 3 added buttons: the D button, located above B on the controller, and the 3 and 4 buttons, which are placed next to 1 and 2. The Wiiboot Nunchuk's analog stick can be pressed as an added input, and the Nunchuk now has a MotionPlus built into it. The B and Z buttons are now pressure triggers instead of regular buttons. Finally, since the sensor bar has been removed, there is no sensor at the top of the Wii Remote, and it instead communicates directly with the console.

- GameCube, Wii, Wii U, and Switch games are all directly compatible through the dock's disc slot and the console's own cartridge slot.
- The Wiiboot was designed to be a cheaper family alternative to other home consoles, including the upcoming Nintendo Hi-5 and Sony and Xbox's current consoles.
