The Nintendo Mind is a hybrid video game console released by Nintendo and its eighth major home game console as the successor to the Nintendo Switch. As with the Switch, the system is both a home console and a handheld console. It's also a VR console. During development, the console was codenamed "NX2." It was officially announced on February 21, 2024, and was released simultaneously on September 20, 2024, in Japan, America, Europe, Hong Kong, and other territories. It costs US $99.99 in America and JP ¥29,980 in Japan. A Nintendo Mind presentation containing more information about the system and the launch games, as well as the games to come on this console during late 2024 was live-streamed in June 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM EST.
