The Nintendo DSN was the first update to the Nintendo 3DS. It was released in 3rd June, 2013. The launch titles included: Sonic the Hedgehog DSN, Super Luigi Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. X2, Roblox and Donkey Kong 64 II. It was made by Nintendo and Roblox, who published most games released for it.
Features[]
The DSN features a 3D camera, GBA games, DS games, DSi games and 3DS games. You can watch movies and tv shows as well. Various accessories have been released for it as well. It comes in 5 colors. A GPS is standard, apps are available for download and you can also get emulators. Games sell for $20 CAD each. Also, it has a touch screen without any pens for it, which was a huge evolution since there are less devices that has a modern touchscreen at the time.(Like iPhones and Androids)

The DSN succeeded the 3DS, and will be succeeded by Nintendo DSW. DSW is a DS with Windows 10 on it.
Popularity
The DSN was a huge success, with 500 million sold copies until the record was broken by the Nintendo Game Boy HD with 5 billion sold.
