Mortal Kombat Vs. Mugen Universe is a new crossover fighting game created by NetherRealm Studios and Huracan Studios, it will be the latest installment of the Mortal Kombat vs. (series). Released for the Basic PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Two, Samsung Zeo, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo NX.

- Added XV-Trigger from M.U.G.E.N 10.
- Remain to used all variations from Mortal Kombat: Oblivion.
- Remain Factions (game mode) with Realms (game mode).
- Vari-Ality: A new form of the fatalities.
- Added all gauge, "types" from M.U.G.E.N franchise.
- Added Wargear from Dawn of War franchise.
- X-Ray Move can be used any kombo with X-Ality, form of the fatalities.
- Learn weapon system added.
- Added Character Gameplay Stats from Street Fighter V.
- Added Gear System from Injustice.
Plot[]
The game takes place right after Raiden and Omega repel invasion from their universe. A sudden attack by the both of them simultaneously in their separate universe, causing a accidental merge of Mortal Kombat and Mugen villains, Shao Kahn and Sauron, causing a creation of a immortal demon named Inferno Kahn. As the Inferno Kahn was created, causing the two universes to merge together. If allowed to continue, both universe will explode. Fighters from both universe begin to fluctuate in power, becoming stronger.
