Mizuryu is a dangerous fighter when you're cornered, using a combination of her long-ranged attacks with ice attacks that freeze enemies to prevent you escaping her grasp.

Mizuryu was primarily added due to both the lack of female kaiju in the Godzilla series, and the lack of monsters in the series that use ice.
Her design was partly inspired by Margygr from Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
