Mew is a Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon, number 151 in the national Pokédex. It's a legendary Pokemon, and one of rarest Pokémon in the world. Using it's DNA, Mewtwo was created. Mew, like Ditto, is able to transform into any Pokémon.
Mew and Mewtwo also have an evil clone known as TrueMew.

Although Mew is owned by Nintendo, there is a red Mew, named Xyphyl, owned by UniversalGaming Inc. He is a determined little fellow who is rumored to be starring in his own game, Pokemon: Legends of Mew.
Pokemon Grey Version[]
Mew can be caught in March. The player can catch it in-story at a level 20. It can be caught at the top of the mountain in Lostlorn Forest. as long as it's March , it can be re-encountered , but once caught , can never be caught again.
