Medieverse

The Medieverse is one of the many Alternate Fantendoverses, created by Crispycol ^(t∣b∣c). It was first mentioned in The Hidden Universe, back then called the Black Death Universe, but the Medieverse is a shortening for the Medieval Universe. Somehow, after the Shattering, the universe was reset to a past time, taking place in the Middle Ages. Technology is rare, but it isn't non-existent. Magic exists, and many know of its existence, but is viewed as bad and thus usually hidden very well. Another major detail is the Black Death that exists in the universe, causing illness to many people, often of the lower class.

Setting

A world that has been set back to the medieval times, where technology is rare, magic is alive and illness roams freely. The main plot takes place in the capital, Regem, a kingdom ruled by a king or a queen. It is surrounded by many small villages, some plagues others almost forgotten. In the ascendant forest there lies the Beorn Tribe, although it had been burned down prior to the start of the story.

West of Regem is another kingdom, Vapor, that seems to be more advanced than others. The steampunk technology is more common there, although it is still rare to see people who practice the tech. The kingdom also seems to be invurnerable to the plague somehow.

Also West, albeit lower, is the kingdom Vitae, which is completely inhabited by women. They have a strong defense build around their kingdom, and many women from different parts of the world come here to live in peace. Religion is forbidden in the kingdom, but the kingdom does come with its own set of rules.

South-East, across the sea is the kingdom of Solis, where the climat is much warmer and bright. However the lands there are dry and crops grow more difficult. They practice another religion than in the Capital, it being opressed to the people by it's king. He does watch over, and cares for them, but only if they follow his rules.

Synopsis

The Capital is ruled by a king who neglects the people, but also is indifferent towards any of his tasks. This causes a lot of trouble among the peasants, but also those closest to him. Meanwhile the witches are being persecuted for using magic, and burned by non-magic users, and trying to find a way to survive these hellish times. These times are also plagued by the Black Death, which affects many.

Characters

Many characters are involved in the story, up to 30 characters in fact. Each of these plays a role in the story, although some are more prominent than others.

• The Medieverse was mentioned in The Hidden Universe. In fact the Leah and X-Ray from the Medieverse eventually end up there.
• The universe takes much inspiration from the HBO series, Game of Thrones.
