Plot[]
This game starts where it's prequel ends, in Mario-Universe-399. Peach, Daisy and Rosalina are hosting a party for the return of the 'lost princess' Violet, also known as simply 'Rosalina's Sister'. Mario had found her in the past during the events of Super Mario Odyssey 2: lost In Time (Part 2). Meanwhile, Bowser and his son, Bowser Junior, were forcing Kamek to use his magic to create a multiverse portal. Bowser's previous plans had failed, leaving him with the option to leave this reality, and find one where Mario was gone, where he could build a new fortress. A fresh start.
