Mario Kart Ω is the thirteenth installment in Nintendo's ever-growing Mario Kart franchise. Coming out on the Nintendo Switch on November 2nd, 2018, Mario Kart Ω returns back to the series' roots while also keeping many of the new features Mario Kart has been known for in recent years. Previous gimmicks, such as anti-gravity racing, double items, and kart customization are returning, but no new gimmicks are appearing for this installment. Ω's focus is tight gameplay, an expanded roster, and the chaos Mario Kart has been known to host for over twenty-five years. The game will be available for the price of $59.99 in America. As of it's release, it's garnered significant praise and overall favorable reviews from critics and consumers alike.

Mario Kart Ω, as stated previously, is focusing more on tight gameplay than gimmicks and add-ons. While it still carries over double items, anti-gravity, and kart customization, it's goal to refine the singleplayer, multiplayer, and online experiences.
