The Manhandla is a retired character on Super Smash Stadium. It debuted alongside Double Hyrule. With just two appearances to its name, it's tied with Mona for the second-rarest fighter on the show.
In its own universe[]
Despite being billed as a Zelda character, Manhandla is based on Piranha Plants, a Mario series character. Apparently, it's an evolved Venus Firetrap. Frequently appearing in the Zelda series as a mid-boss, the thing's strength is defined by its four heads, which each attack in one direction. Link must usually kill the thing head by head.
Attributes[]
The Manhandla was billed as a broken character on the show; however, the more primitive environment of SSS in 1972 combined with its small number of appearances has made that claim hard to verify.
