“Of course! Ooromine II used to be such a beautiful place...but THEY ruined it...”
Manetia is a character in Metroid Prime 4. She was born on some planet no one knows of, but she is an actual human, like Samus Aran. In her younger days, she frequented the planet Ooromine II, when it was actually safe to visit and not quarantined. Her previous occupation, now known, used to be Representative of the Planet Ooromine II. When it became hostile, she lost this position, as all life was gone from the planet forever. Now, she has taken up residence on the planet K2-L. Manetia's ultimate mission in life is to defeat the Space Pirates that destroyed her former home planet. She is around 40 years old.
