Luigi's Mansion: Maze of Nightmares is the umpteenth game in the Luigi's Mansion series and the third to not have King Boo as final boss (the others being Luigi Mansion U and Luigi's Mansion: Haunted Halloween Party). Instead, The Brain and his right-hand Gobber  take that role.

Storyline

Luigi was playing with a Strong Greenie in the Gloomy Manor's Patio until he heard bad news : King Boo is back ! King Boo shatters the Dark Moon, but E. Gadd quickly rebuilds it and makes it so powerful that EVEN King Boo and the Boos get friendly. But then, The Brain, Gobber, Ancient Poltergeist, The Possessors and the ScareScraper ghosts seem to be somewhat unnaffected by the moon and they start hypnotizing and brainwashing the ghosts and trapping them in mind control ! It's up to Luigi, Polterpup, E. Gadd and R. William to stop the Brain !
