Lucas is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Calamity. Lucas is the main protagonist of the Japan-only Mother 3 game for the GameBoy Advance, though he is not playable until after the first three chapters, where Flint, Duster and Salsa were playable in. Lucas is the son of Flint and Hinawa, and is the twin brother of Claus (also known as the Masked Man).

Changes

Nerf Double jump distance is lowered.

Buff New taunt which is his standard taunt, Lucas focuses and starts recovering damage using PSI energy. The taunt can be extended by holding down the taunt button.

Notice New victory pose, the Osohe Dance performed by Wess in Mother 3.

Notice New jab, two punching sparks of PSI forward.

Notice New forward tilt, Lucas creates a spark of PSI in one hand, and, if the attack button is tapped after the first hit connects, then spins around and creates a spark of PSI in the same hand.

Buff New up tilt, a flip kick which can be used for combo potential.

Buff New down smash, PK Ground, which can bury opponents, setting them up for combos.

Notice New down throw.

Buff Neutral special is now Offense Up, which is a charge move and increases the damage of his smash attacks, albeit the effect wears off if a smash attack misses.

Notice PK Freeze is now Lucas's side special, but acts similar to PK Fire.

Buff PSI Magnet now deals damage to opponents inside the barrier.

Up smash Above PSI explosion Lucas creates an eruption of a small PSI spark. 17% (uncharged)

Down tilt Sweep kick Lucas does a sweep kick. 7%
Down smash PK Ground Lucas slams his fist into the ground, creating a shockwave which buries opponents. 10% (uncharged)

Side special PK Freeze Lucas tosses a snowflake-shaped projectile that freezes opponents at high percents. 12%
Up special PK Thunder Lucas generates a lightning bolt that can be guided, and makes Lucas a human cannonball if the lightning bolt hits him, launching him in the direction based on where the bolt touches him. 2% (each hit from the lightning bolt)

Down special PSI Magnet Lucas creates an energy barrier that absorbs projectiles and deals rapid damage to opponents inside the shield, dealing knockback when the special button is released. Miscellaneous

Alternates

Lucas has two alternatre costumes based on the Masked Man, which makes him use his sword in his side smash, and Kumatora. While Kumatora plays similarly to Lucas, she is acknowledge as a separate character by the audience and announcer.
