In Donkey Kong Continent, Lanky Kong is captured by Manky Kongs and brought to the Murkong's underwater cave. Once Kiddy Kong saves him, He becomes a playable character. His main ability in this game is Orangstand. He can use team attacks with Donkey Kong and Kiddy Kong.

Lanky appears in Cranky's Kemistry as a merchant in the Orang-u-tang Gang Market. He sells several different L-ements and upgrades for Banana Coins. He is also an unlockable character in Multi-player Mode.
In Ultra DK, Lanky is captured by the Manky Kongs again, who believe him to be their king. When the other Kongs are captured by the Manky Kongs, Lanky throws them in the dungeon, liking his current life and not wishing to defy the Manky Kongs. However, this is revealed to be a trick and later rescues them, afterwards unlocking him as playable. He uses his Grape Shooter and long arms as his main means of attack.
