Kumatora (クマトラ, Kumatora) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Galactic Battle.

Kumatora is similar to fellow Earthbound/MOTHER reps, Ness and Lucas by having access to PSI moves, however, despite sharing several moves, many of Kumatora's moves are able to function differently from both, leading to a different playstyle from both veterans. Because of this, Kumatora is not labeled as an Echo Fighter.

Kumatora is voiced by ??? in all regions of Galactic Battle, regardless of which version is played.

How to Unlock[]

  • ???
  • ???
  • Get her to join your party in The Elemental Labyrinth.

With the exception of the final task, completing one of the above will lead to Kumatora challenging the player to a battle on Ososhe Castle. Defeating her will unlock her for regular gameplay.

Moveset[]

Name Description
Neutral attack N/A Kumatora performs two punches with her right hand, following up with a fiery punch from her left hand, launching opponents slightly backward.
Forward Tilt N/A Kumatora sends out both of her fists covered in ice towards the opponent, the ice shattering upon hitting the opponent. This move has noticeable lag and is considered one of the slowest moves of her arsenal.
Up Tilt N/A Kumatora knees the opponent upwards while tightening her fists.
Down Tilt N/A Kumatora kicks her foot downwards towards the opponent, similar to Ness. Unlike Ness' version of the move, Kumatora's version is capable of tripping opponents temporarily.
Dash Attack N/A Kumatora jumps forward while putting her hands together, followed by slamming them together, causing a small shockwave. It is considered a powerful damaging move.
Forward Smash N/A Kumatora swings her Fake Frying Pan forwards towards the opponent, similar to both Ness and Lucas' Forward Smashes. Unlike theirs, Kumatora's Frying Pan lacks a sweetspot.
Up Smash N/A Kumatora punches the ground, sending out a sharp icicle shooting out of the ground.
Down Smash N/A Kumatora places both of her hands together as they become engulfed in a flame-like aura, and slams them down. This move only hits in front of Kumatora.
Neutral Aerial N/A Kumatora waves her arms around herself, hitting any nearby opponents multiple times. Similar to Zelda's neutral aerial.
Forward Aerial N/A Kumatora lifts her leg towards her head, then performs an ax-kick with her leg as it drops down covered in a fiery aura. This move is capable of meteor-smashing opponents if timed and performed right.
Back Aerial N/A Kumatora swings her Fake Frying Pan behind her.
Up Aerial N/A Kumatora headbutts in mid-air.
Down Aerial N/A Kumatora punches one magic-based fist downwards towards the opponent. Capable of meteor-smashing opponents.
Grab N/A Kumatora grabs the opponent with one hand.
Pummel N/A Kumatora punches the opponent with a lightning-covered fist.
Forward Throw N/A Kumatora grabs the opponent with both hands, then powers up her hands with lightning before throwing them forward and jumping.
Back Throw N/A Kumatora lightly tosses the opponent behind her.
Up Throw N/A Kumatora holds the opponent up and produces an orange arrow-like streak of energy with her finger pointing towards them.
Down Throw N/A Kumatora slams the opponent downwards as they bounce off shortly afterward.
Neutral Special PK Freeze Kumatora holds her fist back as she begins to charge a frosty aura. When the button is let go, Kumatora launches a blue-whitish aura of ice that damages opponents. The higher the damage that the opponent is, the higher the chance of the opponent being frozen in ice becomes. This move is chargeable.
Side Special Defense Down Ω Kumatora brings her hand out in a "grabby" position with her hands covered in cyan-colored streaks of energy. If contact is made with an opponent, she will push them back in a heavy manner, causing a large amount of damage and knockback. Although it's capable of destroying shields, it can easily be avoided by dodging.
Up Special PK Fire A move similar to Ness and Lucas' PK Thunder move, instead of being with Electricity, it is fire-based. The control of the move is very loose, and compared to both Ness and Lucas, when the fire hits Kumatora, she will bring out a fist while being entirely covered in fire. Although it doesn't deal as much damage and knockback as PK Thunder, PK Fire has less ending lag.
Down Special PK Ground

Kumatora lifts her leg and begins to twist it as she gains power in her foot. When released, she yells out, "PK Ground!", causing the ground as well as rocks to begin flying towards nearby opponents. This move is chargeable.

Final Smash Brainshock Kumatora runs towards the opponent, then proceeds to grab their head in a cinematic fashion. Kumatora then pulses electricity into the opponents head, electrocuting them until finishing with a powerful electrical blast that launches all opponents away.
