Koopa Commander was an high-ranking Koopa Troopa within the ranks of Bowser's army. He was in command of his own team of soldiers, comprising of a fellow Koopa Troopa , a Goomba, and a Cooligan. At some point during Bowser's attempts to take over the Mushroom Kingdom, Koopa Commander was instructed by Bowser and Kamek to lead his team on a mission to sneak into the Mushroom Kingdom and steal a powerful crystal that Princess Peach's Toads discovered in a cave. Koopa Commander is then sent from world to world, making his way to the Mushroom Kingdom and his objective, with the aid of Bowser Jr. and his massive airship.
