The Dimension World battle has Lololo and Lalala fuse into one being, which attacks through throwing levitating framers across the stage and striking with dark hearts and lightning. Players must reflect the framers back at the duo to deal damage.

Jawgob changes form in the Dimension World, turning him from a liquidy creature into a solid shell that can roll around at high speed. Jawgob can also clone itself in order to try and bowl right over Kirby. Kirby must exhale to push projectiles back at Jawgob while he is rolling.

Kracko turns into a large, drill-armed monstrosity when he enters the Dimension World. Not only can it fire the drills as projectiles, but it can also fire large lightning balls and turn into a giant tornado that tries to suck Kirby in. Kirby must play ping-pong by constantly bouncing back the electric blasts towards Kracko to deal damage.

Dimension Taoistar ups the difficulty by creating a constellation shield, requiring Kirby to knock back multiple objects to break the shield - luckily, a constant rain of shooting stars will prove as handy ammo. Dimension Taoistar attacks by manipulating the battlefield to trap Kirby and by slashing with the Starlus.

Kirby and Lace must first work together and try to load up the Star Mixer using the attacks from left behind enemies in order to reopen the portal, and only then will Dimension Kirby and Lace be able to enter the battlefield. For the first phase, Dimension Zuringa will set up a barrier while his dark arms will try and attack Kirby. Kirby must dodge these and try not to lose his health for Zuringa will only be vulnerable when he loses the willpower to keep the barrier up. Kirby must time his exhale right so one of the darkness arms will be sent hurtling towards Dimension Zuringa. After the first phase, Zuringa will capture Lace, requiring that Kirby free her by attacking the hands and then sending it into the Star Mixer to attack Zuringa.
  +
  +
For the last phase, Zuringa opens another portal that leads deeper and deeper into the Dimension World. While controlling Lace in a free flight 2D shooter, you must avoid any and all attacks that Zuringa tries to send out at you in order to knock you out of the portal, as well as the dark arrows that occasionally appear within the portal. Over time, you'll corner Zuringa, as the next portal he opens is so far out of reach that anyone who enters will be instantly decimated. Here, Kirby loads himself into the Star Mixer and launches out at full blast, while Zuringa tries to charge up one more attack and launch it while his regenerated darkness arms hold him back from entering the portal. It's a button mashing competition where you have to exhale with enough power to overcome Zuranga's last move and knock it back at him, resulting in his body burning while he slowly disappears into the unknown.

|Daroach makes a guest appearance in the True Arena as one of the last bosses in the regular True Arena.   +
After over 15 years of not appearing in a mainstream Kirby title, Dark Matter finally shows up as the surprise final boss of the True Dimension Arena, and by extension, the entire game. Being the cause of Zuringa and Volaid's plans and the leader of the attack in the laboratorys of Shiver Star and Omelette Outpost, this lone member of Dark Matter appears out of a giant prototype Dimension Ring that is used as the battlefield. Dark Matter can shoot dark blobs of energy, turn into a shadow to initiate a surprise attack, and create streams of dark energy. Most of Dark Matter's projectiles can be reflected, and they must hit the open eye to deal damage.
  +
  +
After the first health bar is depleted, the evil matter becomes enraged and shatters the large Dimension Ring, breaking it and releasing tons of dark energy. Lace appears and grabs Kirby in time in order to get him to power up the Star Mixer, initiating the shooter style movement seen in the battle against Halofort, which mimics the past battles against Dark Matter in the series. Dark Matter's attacks return to their roots in this form, spewing dark lightning, detaching its body parts to home in on the heroes, and blasting waves of dark energy. After enough damage is done to the open eye, Dark Matter explodes as the threat of the Dimension Rings is finally undone.

==Original Concept==
  +
In a similar manner to ''Kirby's Epic Yarn'', Kirby: Dimension Ring was originally not a Kirby game, but rather an entirely original game called '''Dimension Ribbon'''. The game would have had a larger focus on the Extra Mode's story, telling a story of a young adopted daughter who went to save her father from being mind-controlled and corrupted by a wealthy businessman, and did not feature any of the minigames or the normal mode's story that the current game has.
  +
  +
Lace's Star Mixer is a modified version of her original weapon, called the '''Dimension Rifle'''. The Dimension Rifle would have been able to shoot at enemies or transform into a melee weapon for beat-em-up sections. True to it's name, it would have also been what was needed to travel through to the Dimension World. Unlike the final product, the character was able to switch between the two worlds freely at any point (minus certain areas, explained as due to having "damaged rifts") and the two worlds were mostly similar in layout with some key changes rather than completely seperate layouts.

  +
Later on in development, Lace, Zuringa, Volaid, and all of the story and concept in the game was switched over and slightly modified to fit a Kirby game instead, as the project had then been turned into a joint collaboration between Nintendo and GD Gaming. Even though the characters were meant to be original, they didn't recieve their names until after the switch. Lace was named after the beta name of the game (as well as a homage to Ribbon of the Kirby series, as Kirby 64's events largely tie into the game), while Zuringa and Volaid were named after the key story points. Their concept names were simply Girl, Father, and Tycoon.
  +
  +
Despite the characters making their debut in Nintendo-series titles, they are still considered original GD Gaming Studios characters, and as such, the ability to expand on their story in an original game as it was planned before is entirely possible.
