At first glance, Whispy Woods plays just like most of his encounters; he spits gusts of wind and drops apples that can be used as ammo. Where he really steps up is after he loses half of his health. Whispy Woods will jump into the background, with two roots peaking out of the foreground that can be hit. Whispy now attacks through his roots in many ways, such as slashes and crawling across the stage. Once he is defeated, the battle against Dimension Whispy Woods begins.

| style="text-align:center;"|This time around, Dimension Whispy Woods is in the background from the beginning, with his roots covering the battlefield. Dimension Whispy attacks through growing roots out of the ground and throwing sharp leaves. His signature gust attack has been turned into one large tornado. Whispy also drops Gordos instead of apples. You must lure Whispy into throwing a Gordo in front of him, and then exhale it back at him to cause damage.

He'll fire star showers in the background that fall from the sky, and giant stars that'll try to crush you. He can also be covered by a space cloth to hide his position, and then fire a wave of meteors. Unlike the greedy king who's able to lend a hand at times, Dimension Dedede is pure mercilessness, and will stop at nothing to defeat and kill Kirby in his hands. Even going as far as to break his own hammer, Dimension Dedede is equipped with a Star Rod for this battle. Most of Dedede's common battle tactics have been upped a notch, with the ability to fire stars, create shockwaves, hover in the air, and even flip the screen. In order to defeat Dedede, you'll need to attempt to exhale one of the stars he send out. Due to it's sheer power, it won't be reflected, but rather stuck on Kirby's mouth. Kirby must then find an opening and attack the Star Rod, as hurting Dedede himself does nothing.

| style="text-align:center;"|k
| style="text-align:center;"|Zuringa's last resort is to throw himself within the depths of the Dimension World and hope to accomplish his goals there. Kirby and Lace must first work together and try to load up the Star Mixer using the attacks from left behind enemies in order to reopen the portal, and only then will Dimension Kirby and Lace be able to enter the battlefield. For the first phase, Dimension Zuringa will work on setting up a barrier while his newfound darkness arms will try and attack Kirby. Kirby must dodge these and try not to lose his health for Zuringa will only be vulnerable when he loses the willpower to keep the barrier up. Kirby must time his exhale right so one of the darkness arms will be sent hurtling towards Dimension Zuringa. Repeat this process a few more times to enter the second phase.

For the second phase, Dimension Zuringa manages to break the very ground that Dimension Kirby stood on, causing Lace to have to carry him to another area, at the cost of being capture. Kirby must once again dodge his attacks and wait for an opening: specifically, during an attack where the darkness arms slams into the ground in an attempt to hit Kirby, while letting go of Lace. Kirby must exhale and send this hand flying into the Star Mixer, so that Lace can successfully launch it into Zuringa. Once you get rid of all 4 of Zuringa's darkness arms, you'll enter the third and final stretch.

For the last part of the battle, Zuringa is infuriated and opens another portal that leads deeper and deeper into the Dimension World. While controlling Lace in a free flight movement, you must avoid any and all attacks that Zuringa tries to send out at you in order to knock you out of the portal, as well as the dark arrows that occasionally appear within the portal. Over time, you'll reach an area so deep that Zuranga will slow down, where you catch up to him. Zuringa tries to open another portal, only to find that he's gone as deep as possible and that said opening is so far out of reach that anyone who enters will be instantly decimated. Here, Kirby loads himself into the Star Mixer and launches out at full blast, while Zuringa tries to charge up one more attack and launch it while his regenerated darkness arms hold him back from entering the portal. It's a button mashing competition where you have to exhale with enough power to overcome Zuranga's last move and knock it back at him, resulting in his body burning while he slowly disappears into the unknown.
