King Caesar is a giant shisa kaiju from the Godzilla franchise. His appearence is based off of his appearence in Godzilla: Final Wars, though with a few alterations, noticably a more lion-esque face and a large mane.

He appears as a playable character in Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Ultimate, as a member of the Earth Defenders faction.

Backstory

"A giant shisa (guardian creatures that are a cross between lions and dogs) kaiju, King Caesar is the guardian of the royal Azumi family. A powerful fighter, despite being aligned with the Earth Defenders, he does show deep concern for humans."

Gameplay

King Caesar is a well-rounded fighter with a primary focus on close-range, using his solar powers to create blades of heated energy. Mirror Eye and Counter are unique specials that can either grant him a boost in his next few attacks, or be unleashed a damaging beam of energy. Solar Edge is also a versatile move that grants King Caesar many useful attacks.

Solar Blade	B	King Caesar summons a blade of solar energy and launches it forward.
Mirror Eye / Solar Beam	Hold B	Hold the button and King Caesar's eyes glow as his ears go up. If he hit with a projectile or beam, he'll take no damage and absorb the attack into him. This will temporarily boost his strength. Alternatively, by performing the same motion, he can unleash a beam of solar energy. Hold a direction to change where King Caesar is aiming.
Solar Blade (Air)	B (air)	King Caesar summons a blade of solar energy and tosses it downward. Upon reaching the ground, it explodes and damages anyone nearby.
Solar Edge	X	King Caesar starts his attack by slashing enemies with a solar blade.
	X,A	King Caesar follows up byattacking the enemy with a barrage of punches.
	X,?,A	King Caesar ends the attack with a kick that knocks enemies away.
	X,B	King Caesar follows up by launching the enemy into the air.

Counter	Hold X	King Caesar briefly assumes as defensive stance, and if he is hit by an attack, performs a counterattack. This also charges him with solar energy.
Solar Dive	X (air)	King Caesar performs a diving kick, and upon hitting the enemy, bounces back into the air.
Rage Attack	Input	Descripton
Solar Flare	R	King Caesar summons a large beam of solar energy from the sky, holding it in his hands. He then brings down the beam like a sword in front of him, destroying anything in its path.
