Jungle is a location in the Sonic series. It has made several appearances, however the only one that uses its own name is Sonic the Hedgehog (8-bit).
Sonic Heroes 2[]
Jungle makes an appearance in Sonic Heroes 2. Here, it is the original place of inhabitance of Fang and remains home to Nic, his sister.[note 1] Anyone traversing the Troll Bridge Zone will end up in here. Jungle is an important place in Team Dark's storyline, being where Nic lived before Team Badnik tunneled through from Crystal Egg Zone to Electric Egg Zone. The final cutscene of this storyline is Nack showing Nic the newly leveled Jungle, it now being inhabitable again. Team Eggman traverse Jungle Zone en route to Sleeping Egg Zone, where they are looking for a Chaos Emerald.
Meta Junglira Zone[]
There is also a zone called Meta Junglira (from Sonic Triple Trouble), which is Fang's present home. It is attended by Team Dark, Fang's team, on many an occasion throughout Sonic Heroes 2. Team Archaic play Meta Junglira Zone en route to Great Turquoise Zone, where they are looking for Sonic - though actually find Silver.
