Jelonzo

Jellyfish are some of the most common species in Splatoon, next to Inklings. They are anthropomorphic jellyfish that mainly appear among audiences and as background characters, often cheering on Inklings during a Turf War.

Jellyfish do generally not speak the Inkling language and cannot be interacted with in the game. Jelonzo, the shopkeeper from clothes store Jelly Fresh, is an exception, although he's not very fluent in it.

Appearance

Jellyfish resemble their real-life counterpart a bit more than Inklings do, having an ovarian, squishy head and a multitude of tentacles, colored cyan. Unlike their real-life counterpart, however, they now have a torso, on which two of its tentacles take the place of arms, with the rest serving as their feet. Jellyfish also have jointed eyeballs and rhombus-shaped pupils. They are also often seen wearing a shirt, usually one that Inklings can buy in Inkopolis as well. They will also wear a Splatfest Tee whenever the Squid Sisters are holding a Splatfest.
