Guzzlord is a Dark/Dragon type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII, it is one of several Pokémon known collectively as Ultra Beasts, Pokémon that originated from alternate dimensions known as Ultra Space. It is suggested that it is native to the Ultra Ruin.
Appearance[]
Guzzlord's overall appearance is rather complex although is centralized around is large gaping maw whish is liked to the brim with teeth including teeth-like protrusions on its tongue. Its mouth is light blue on the inside and it has yellow fangs on the outside. Within Guzzlord's mouth it also has two tusk-like fangs that protrude from its upper jaw and two grabber appendages that have a somewhat serpentine appearance to them each with jaw-like heads (although whether these jaws are connected to the Pokémon's stomach is unclear.
The Pokémon has two stubby legs that hold up its body, each with three triangular shaped toes all facing outwards. Its legs also have a yellow zig-zag stripe along them. It has a short stubby tail on the back of its body with a mace-like end that it can use to club enemies with, it also has small spikes protruding towards its tail. The Pokémon's back and head are covered in an array of jagged spikes and frills each tipped with a yellow colouration that vary in shape and size.
The Pokémon has four eyes, two large ones located directly above its mouth with batwing-like frills above them, small yellow cheeks to each side and a yellow diamond shape pattern between them. Its second pair of eyes are located on a crown-like growth that protrudes from the top of its head and are located beneath four small spikes that point towards the apex of this protrusion.
Philosophy[]
Guzzlord is shown in games to be a very primordial Pokémon behaving very much on basic instincts and desires of food, the Pokémon appears to have an insatiable appetite and will attack on sight. It also appears to not be particularly picky about its food as it will eat the ruins of Ultra Ruins' Hau'Oli City themselves. The Pokémon does display some degree of restraint however as one can be encountered in Resolution Cave in Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon and is not seen eatings its surroundings.
