"Gravity Fighters" is a fighting game based off the hit TV show "Gravity Falls." The game has items, locations, and characters based on the show, with fighting game elements tossed into the mix. The game was announced at Nintendo's E3 presentation in 2015, revealing it would be released on May 21, 2016. The game, according to series creator Alex Hirsch, is a stand-alone title for the series, and will be released on all systems in the Nintendo 3DS family.

At first, the gameplay seems much like Super Smash Bros, with a hitbox that gets more damage each hit. There are also items and special moves that can be obtained in a way. However, there are new things thrown into the mix to keep the game fresh and different. For one, the way you obtain the special move is by getting damaged, as a special meter fills up. If the meter fills up, each character can use a special attack on the opponent. However, if you just stand around and get hit, it doesn't count. Another new feature is boss battles. Similar to how Smash Bros handled item toggling, the game has the option to leave bosses on or off for certain stages. Finally, the items which you get sometimes no only affect you or the opponent, but both, making it a choice: do you wanna risk it, or not?
