Glenn's Adventure - The Void is the second and final part of Glenn's Adventure, published and developed byBuit gears loho GearInstinct.

Set in the year V202X, The Void follows Vincent and Glenn as they reunite The Legacy once more to locate and take down a new threat, linked to all of the disasters happening around the world and Nexonation, known as Cynical.

MAIN PLOT - The Void[]

The Void follows protagonist Glenster 'Navy' Salt, who must come out of hiding in order to locate a strange being behind the strange events, and deuteragonist Vincent 'Alex' Halifaxm, who with the support of the Blue Lights Foundation must locate and neutralise the threat destroying Nexonation. The story is told in-game and through cutscenes.

As Glenster takes on the false identity of Daisuke Fuma, he recieves a letter from the Blue Lights Foundation requiring his help for one more time. Going back to Linketh, he meets Vincent and is told about the strange occurances of disappearences around Nexonation and places seemingly changing linking to one strange person. Vincent tells Glenster that him and The Legacy are required to neutralize this threat. Before leaving, Glenster recieves a Krystal Shard from the centre of Bridged, which can only be used once at a specific time if all things fail.

As the pair travel to Anbrid to locate Joshua, they are stopped by the army, saying that there appears to be an apocalypse going on. Ignoring them, the pair cross the one way barrier to locate Joshua, however are attacked by strange undead creatures, caused by a strange rupture in the sky. After defeating them, a horde approaches the pair but are saved by a strange woman known as Laura 'Mary' Stemptom, who accompany the pair in finding Joshua. Learning that he's been taken hostage by a gang known as the Grey Mops, the trio find out after defeating their boss that Joshua is being held captive by a muscular man known as Leizlure. Defeating Leizlure in combat, he warns them that there are more coming after them.

After the government are able to keep the undead contained, Laura abandons the group in order to help exterminate the threats and save the people trapped. The trio find their way to Fodner in order to meet up with an informer, known as Lizzy. Arriving at a renovated Fodner, Lizzy helps the trio by telling them that Michael is located in Nisden, however is caught up in Industry business after the president of the Black Dragons is murdered.

Arriving at Nisden, the city appears to be abandoned and aged however the trio are ambushed by Black Dragon members and taken to Michael. After being interrogated as to why they came, Michael is relucant to join due to being trapped in the city and works in the Black Dragons in order to repay his debts to Patriarch Killjoy and the late president. After the group try to sneak out of Nisden, the group are involved in a car accident, by the hands of Patriarch Killjoy. After defeating him and his family members, Patriarch KIlljoy notes about the growth of Michael and lets him free, however notes that the Industry will always be after him.

Returning back to Fodner, they meet Lizzy in order to learn some new intel about where Hutch is locate, however she only knows about his previous location as he is considered off the map. Arriving at Nodnol, the group wonder around before being abushed by brainwashed soldiers, led by brainwashed soldier leader, Private Rojo. Defeating them, a bloodied Hutch is thrown out of a van before they drive off. Hutch informs them that they're after Lizzy after learning that she is planning to betray them. Arriving back at Fodner, Lizzy is found dead, with a note explaining the anomalies being the work of Cynical, a god-like being hiding in Emarown.

Arriving, Emarown appears to be a cyberpunk-like city, and are led through town by R08-3R7. After the group decide to rest in Glenster's apartment, strange bombings happen around the city. Behind the bombings are a strange gang known as The Test Subjects. After revealing to The Legacy that they are friend not foe, and that they know who Cynical is, revealing to be a woman known as Ruby, hiding in the forbidden part of Nexonation, known as Corruption Land.

After finding their way, the Legacy and Test Subjects split up in order to find Ruby, with Glenster and Vincent being ambushed by multiple corrupted beasts, led by the leader known as Perniciosius, who is also led by Ruby. Defeating them, Ruby shows her true form and transforms into Cynical, causing strange events to occur throughout Nexonation, including the land and sky around them to rise and form a devlish purple-ish red. After Vincent calls the B.L.F. foundation to bring their secret weapon over, everyone except Glenster is left out of commission. The secret weapon, Misstical, arrives in order to help out Glenster, however both fail in doing so. After retreiving the Mystical Stone that she resided in, Cynical goes further beyond and becomes a God of their universe.

After testing her new powers, Cynical pulls a void to suck in Nexonation to a place unknown to them, however Glenster remembers his Krystal Shard and wishes to keep Nexonation safe. As a strange bubble surrounds Nexonation from Bridged, Nexonation is sucked into the void alongside everything else. After a violently loud and shakey transport, Nexonation appears safe, with the B.L.F. workers coming in to take the Legacy and Misstical to a nearby bunker to fix them, leaving Glenster once again by himself.

Driving back to Emarown, Glenster feels that something is odd and drives off to the edge of Nexonation, learning that they're in a different Earth and time period, floating somewhere above the United Kingdom. Glenster drives back to a scruffy looking Luke and Goldie in his apartment, before settling down for takeaway.

Glenster 'Navy' Salt
Power - Mystical Power and Superb Rhythm

Glenster is the leader and one of the main protagonists of The Void, being the reincarnation of the Four Warrior's leader. Less optimistic and more hot-blooded, Glenster has mastered his Mystical Power and usage, being able to use more moves. 

After coming out of hiding under the false name of Daisuke Fuma and being recruited by Vincent after strange occurances, Glenster must reunite The Legacy in order to bring down another threat.

Mystical Powers
Glenster has the same Mystical Power from Misstical Mystery, with more damage and efficiency.

Guitar Attacks
A master in electrical guitar, Glenster can whack his enemies with a guitar or perform an annoying tune to stun enemies.

PASSIVE - Rhythm Ability
In battle, Glenster can stack certain attacks on enemies by pressing his dedicated button to the current song's rhythm, stacking damage until the enemy is defeated or the rhythm is lost.

Joshua 'Richard' Laizer
Power - Great Knowledge and Precognition

Joshua runs a real estate company known as Laizer's Real Estate, and is one of the main protagonists of The Void. Polite yet dull with a more tamer explosive side, Joshua has mastered his precognition usage and is a well known figure in the real estate industry.

Being saved from Glenster, Vincent and Laura, Joshua joins Glenster in order to bring down another threat.

Human Dictionary
Having great knowledge, Joshua can tell The Legacy stats about enemies, a short description about NPCs that they're talking to or where they are.

Brass Knuckles
Well equipped with brass knuckles and with the strongest strength out of The Legacy, Joshua can throw hard hitting punches and jabs that can leave enemies stunned.

Precognition
With the Save Stone awakening his dorment abilities of forseeing 10 seconds into the future, Joshua can prevent up to five attacks, however will tire him out.

Michael 'Andrew' Lloyd
Power - Medical Abilities, Spirit (Sun King), Netsu (Wave Energy)

Michael is a member of the Black Dragons and former Four Warrior, and is also one of the main characters of The Void. A man who doesn't mind resorting to violence and not able to trust anyone, Michael relies on his street-like violence and his unique uses of his powers to help himself out.

After interrogating the group about what they're doing, Michael eventually earns the trust of Patriarch Killjoy, and sets Michael free which leaves Michael no choice but to rejoin The Legacy.

Abilities + Weapons

Healing
Michael can heal The Legacy, regaining HP and restoring status effects.

Sun King - Dropper
Michael wraps his viney Sun King around the enemies neck, before bringing them up and smashing them on their head. Michael can also perform this in the overworld and bring down tilted items.

Netsu - Thug Strikes
Michael performs a short combo with his Netsu, using dirty tricks including poking the enemies eyes, stunning them for a turn.

Hutch 'Gary' Lewis
Power - High Durability and Detachable Limbs

Hutch is a former Four Warrior and currently homeless, being one of the main characters of The Void. At his lowest point and at the edge, Hutch is always timid of those around him and keeps to himself. His powers now however have weakened compared to the rest of the Four Warriors, having not too many uses now except for battle..

Being saved from the clutches of a mysterious gang, Hutch joins the group once again in the hope of finding somewhere to sleep and reflect on his life in peace.

Powerful Punches
In battle, Hutch can literally throw some powerful punches towards just one enemy which in some cases can stun an enemy.

Barging Rush
In battle, Hutch can barge into the enemy and damage the enemy, and in the overworld, can barge into enemies or weak object or hallow walls in order to reveal new paths to travel through.

Stingy Eye Laser
In battle, Hutch can throw his robot eye fast as a laser rather than shooting one, however only travels into one enemy.

Vincent 'Alex' Halifax
Power - "Melancholy Hill" (Spirit)

Vincent can be considered the co-leader of The Legacy now and is a main character of The Void. Still resourceful and knowledgeable in the supernatural, however more closer to The Legacy, Vincent finally posses the same strength as in his prime in his Spirit, with extra experiences in any supernatural dangers.

After being informed by the Blue Lights Foundation about a new threat imminent, he calls Glenster in order to join up and defeat the new threat.

Melancholy Hill - Pummeling
In battle, Melancholy Hill will pummel opponents with either a barage of kicks or punches, ending the attack in a hook or kick.

Melancholy Hill - Learning
Melancholy Hill can steal up to three enemy attacks as the form of USB Sticks. Although weaker, they can be swapped out at anytime.

Melancholy Hill - Throwing
In the overworld, Melancholy Hill can throw any Legacy member a medium sized distance.

Cynical
Power - Manipulation and Eldritch Powers

Cynical is a unique person, featuring all features of the Corruption and Fable. Self-centred, twisted and eccentric, living for the thrill of blood and corruption, Cynical has the potential of becoming an omniscient being, and uses her charming looks to manipulate those around her and her ability to summon eldritch horrors and to become one themself.

Learning of the Mystical Stones, Cynical manipulates those they think has potential to work for her and secure a Mystical Stone for themself in order to ascend and destroy those who try to stop her, mainly The Legacy.

Eldritch Horror
Cynical can perform many times of attacks as an Eldritch Being, such as impaling, crushing or stunning The Legacy which deal major damage, with an addition of poisoning.

Flying Swoop
Cynical flys into the air, before flying into The Legacy with the horns at front, dealing sometimes fatal damage.

Corrupted and Fable Stampede
Cynical can summon a stampede of Fable and Corrupted creatures to trample on The Legacy.

Power - Brute Strength and Grey Moppers

Leizlure is the head of a small gang, known as the Grey Moppers. Quiet and a man of few words, Leizlure uses his gang to do his own bidding and spread violence across Anbrid.

After kidnapping Joshua and attempting to sell him for ransom, Leizlure is faced with two options after meeting Glenster, Vincent and Laura. Either give them Joshua, or crush them for some more money.

Street Fighting
Leizlure uses his street fighting styled punches and kicks, alongside combos to deal good damage.

Grey Moppers Summon
Leizlure summons multiple Grey Moppers members to back himself up, however the members are very weak.

Dirty Trick
Leizlure goes for a pretty low blow, followed by rock-stuffed gloves, dealing major damage.

Patriarch Killjoy
Power - Powerful Killjoy Family and Boxer Attacks

After being banished from the army and still thirsting for some power, Patriarch Killjoy is another legend across the criminal socities. Patriarch Killjoy is still disrespectful and insulting, however now wishes to rule over the Black Dragons using his newest recruit and new patriarch, Michael.

After learning of Michael attempting to leave Nisden, Patriarch Killjoy and his family attempts to stop The Legacy in order to keep Michael in the Black Dragons for his own use.

Abilities + Weapons

Dangerous Boxing
General Killjoy uses his brawling skills in order to defeat his enemies. These can range from punches to kicks and always deal hard hitting damage.

Family Shooting
The Killjoy Family open fires at The Legacy.

Human Body Shield
Patriarch Killjoy can grab the nearest family member and use him to block an attack, lowering damage taken.

Private Rojo
Power - Gun

Private Rojo is the leader of the manipulated soldiers, being a private himself. Willing to do anything to help Cynical and protect her, Private Rojo uses his little army to support Cynical in any shape or form.

Private Rojo mainly uses his arsenal of weapons to protect Cynical, being inable to defend himself without weapons.

Rifle Attacks
Private Rojo can gun down The Legacy with his rifle, or get real up close and attack with the gun. The gun and bullets itself surprisingly don't do a lot of damage, but how many shots he wishes to make are random.

Pistol Attack
Similar to his rifle attack, Private Rojo can shoot one devasting shot to The Legacy or perform a pistol whip.

Human Body Shield
If General Killjoy has any spare army members, he grabs one and puts it infront of him in order to negate damage taken. However this uses up an army member.

Perniciosius
Power - Devasting Slashes and Pounces

Perniciosius is a cross-breed between human and corruption, made by Cynical herself. Showing no emotion except rage and blood-thirst, Perniciosius is able to command an entire horde of corrupted beasts under Cynical's command.

Alerted by the appearence of The Legacy, Perniciosius goes into a dangerous state of mind, only out for the blood of The Legacy.

Crushing Pounce
Perniciosius crushes The Legacy by pouncing on any member.

Slammer
Perniciosius slams The Legacy into the air, stunning them upon hitting the ground.

Killer Slash
Perniciosius unleashes his sharp fingers to mortally wound and poison The Legacy in one slash.

Common Enemies[]

Name Description
Infamous Industry From the Hustrain family. These mafia members always come in quantities and are always looking for a fight. Alongside the Legacy, the Industry progressively becomes stronger and begin to wield firearms and weapons, becoming more of a nuisence.
Devilish Delinquents Delinquents can be found anywhere and will always be looking for a fight. Also coming in quantities, Delinquents can perform pair special moves that can sometimes deal devastating damage,
Crooked Cops As Nexonation changes, so do the people supposed to be defending us. Rather protecting, cops tend to be doing the opposite. Coming in large quantites, cops are sometimes very tough due to their training and being trained in firearms, making them dangerous when weak.
Beserk Brawlers Professional street brawlers. These brawlers have a balanced fighting style, comprised of hard hitting punches and kicks. They always come in trios.
Resentful Rushers Underdogs of street brawling. Although lacking in strength is made up in speed, throwing scarily quick punches and kicks than can leave The Legacy stunned. They always come in trios.
Bulky Beasts Considered legends of street brawling. Coming out of retirement, these beasts carry dangerously powerful punches, however at a slow pace, which in some occasions leave The Legacy out of commission.
Dastardly Drunkards Drunkards can also be found anywhere and in large quantities. Despite their large number, they can't throw a hard hitting punch and are easily knocked down. However, their large quantities can be annoying to deal with.
Notorious Bikers Notorious Bikers always come in a gang and looking for a fight that they can win. Always coming equipped with potentially lethal weapons, the bikers are rather weak without their weapons and can be also easily knocked out.
Terrible Thugs Like their names say, they're terrible. Although unable to hit a punch, their large quantities can be a hassle to deal with.

Rare Enemies[]

Name Description
Don't Matter From the Hustrain family. These mafia members always come in quantities and are always looking for a fight. Alongside the Legacy, the Industry progressively becomes stronger and begin to wield firearms and weapons, becoming more of a nuisence.
Soda Depressing Delinquents can be found anywhere and will always be looking for a fight. Also coming in quantities, Delinquents can perform pair special moves that can sometimes deal devastating damage,
Gigantic Gum A bunch of gum stuck together, taking on the appearance of a massive beast. Gigantic Gums can slash The Legacy dealing major damage with their claws or crush them underneath their weight.
Dangerous Drivers Cars with conciousness. They attack by driving into the Legacy, stunning them and dealing damage, or spin around in donuts, creating fumes, blinding and damaging the Legacy.
Doggie Stylers Ruthless dogs. They can bite and hang on to a Legacy member, slowly dealing damage and can slash any of the Legacy. They can also drop waste or relieve themselves on the Legacy, stunning them.
Grey Moppers What's left of the Grey Moppers. Furious and wanting revenge, the Grey Moppers are annoying to deal with, with their powerful speed based attacks. However, they come in very few numbers.
Black Dragons Some from the Black Dragons still haven't gotten the message yet. Out for blood and revenge, the Black Dragons come fully equipped with brutal weapons and very little training. If they manage to get a hit, consider yourself done for a while.
Undead Some of the last remaining undead, still roaming around Nexonation. They attack by biting the Legacy, which poisons the person biten and attack by slashes, ranging from low to high damage.
Fabled Creatures Creatures and transformed humans from the Fabled side of Nexonation, where fairy tales come to life. They can stun The Legacy temporarily, however apart from stunning they can only perform basic attacks.
Corrupted Creatures Transformed humans or creatures from the Corrupted side of Nexonation, where all of the eldritch horrors live. They can perform devastating attacks and temporarily stun The Legacy.

Legendary Enemies[]

Name Description
Monsieur Money Drenched in money, covered in gold, the Monsieur Money will pick a fight with The Legacy, bringing rather intimidating weapons alongside them. Upon defeat, Monsieur Money will always drop a rather large sum of cash.
"Bourn" Strange creatures with appearence similar to bears, who call themselves "Bourn" or something similar. Each "Bourn" are experienced in combat and can sometimes wield strange out of this world weapons or abilties, able to put the Legacy out of commission in one move. Upon defeat, the "Bourn" will drop a strange gun, which shoots electric based projectiles to stun enemies.
Prime Apes Dangerous wild apes, on the loose. The apes can perform devastating attacks and swing The Legacy around. Upon defeat, the Prime Apes will drop some bananas.
Spirit Wielders Experienced Spirit Wielders. Knowing how to use their spirits, they can perform dangerous combos with their large and buff Spirits, dealing dangerous damage.
Netsu Experts Netsu trained experts. Although strong enough to kill anyone, the Netsu Experts go easy on The Legacy to train them and further their experience. They can deal devastating damage with their unique supernatural ancient martial arts.

Visitable Locations[]

Glenn’s Adventure takes place in Nexonation, covering across different areas surrounding Eastern Nexonation. In each location, The Legacy can unwind by having fun with various side-activites, shop for useful items, explore the area and recover at a local inn. Over the course of Glenn's Adventure, the areas either change drastically or minor, as the player makes progress through the story.

Each location (with a few exceptions) have many substories for the Legacy to get involved with.

Goods[]

Goods are items that the Legacy can collect during their adventure, sometimes being necessary. These items that need to be collected are Story Items, and are separated into their own category in the inventory.

Normal goods are items that hold a variety of effects to assist The Legacy or hinder the enemies. They can be found in shops around Nexonation or occasionally by enemies, being dropped after defeat with dropped goods sometimes including weapons.

Each of the Legacy can hold up to 30 items in their inventory, which can be found by pressing START to open the menu. If the Legacy's inventory is full and picks up a new item, they can choose to either discard the item or replace it with another item.

Food Goods[]

Food Goods restore lost HP.

Types Description
Takeaway Any type of takeaway food is always convienent, whatever the mood. Best enjoyed hot rather than cold for maximum health restoring point.
Fast Food Food made rather quickly. Although it taste good, it's not ideal for restoring lost health points.
Meal Deal Meal Deals are one of the best inventions. The Meal Deal restore a lot of lost health points and some cash.
Snacks Good when feeling the need to eat something small. Snacks don't restore a lot of health points but they do make you feel satisfied.

Drink Goods[]

Drink Goods restore lost AP.

Types Description
Canned Drink Canned Drinks are enjoyed hot or cold and restore some ability points.
Bottled Drink Bottled drinks are great on size and great at restoring a large amount of ability points.
Large Bottled Drink Despite being unhealthy, a large bottled drink can keep you hydrated and restore a large amount of ability points.
Energy Drink Energy drinks restore a large majority of ability points and keep you awake. Keep a watch on how much you drink however.

Medicine Goods[]

Medicine Goods can either restore HP, AP or both.

Types Description
Health Specialising in restoring a majority of health points, these can get you feeling better in no time.
Ability These types of medicine are great for restoring the energy needed for your abilities.
Health and Ability Need to restore your energy and health? These types are the best to have.
Status Remover Have you got a status that you need to get rid off? Status Remover medicine are specifically made for doing that.
Glenster Glenster needs a specific type of medicine to fill up his Brain Power.

Types Description
Substory Goods necessary to progress in a substory, unless it's a good readily available.
Story Can't make progress in the story unless you have these Goods.

Keep yourself on edge at all times with these Goods.

Weapon Where did you get this? A weapon that any of The Legacy can use before it breaks.
Equipment Keep yourself protected, you never know where danger lurks.

Status Put a status on your enemies with these Goods.
Damage Inflict some minor or major damage onto your opponent!

These Goods are still pretty good, but not good enough to have their own Goods section.
