Development[]

Ideas for an episodic take on the Ghostverse date back to the miniseries Ghostverse Stories, which was originally intended to show the aftermath of the Hour of Reckoning duology. However, as time went on, Krexxal (tbc), the creator of the Ghostverse, was struggling to balance lighthearted and serious stories, and wanted a simple way of doing both, not to mention that he had kind of written himself into a wall by introducing multiple villain groups. The idea to make it an episodic series was also inspired by Krexxal's love of anime, and specifically happened when he watched several episodes of My Hero Academia.

Trivia[]
