Flamefreeze Galaxy is a galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy Fractured (CFJ). It is a remixed version of Freezeflame Galaxy, but the gimmick is that the hot and cold sides of the galaxy have swapped. The skybox is also different, with a background more akin to the Bowser levels.
Planets[]
Starting Planet[]
The starting planet is now in its form from "Hot and Cold Collide", Freezeflame's original third mission. In the first mission, Mario must simply make it to the other side and break open a crystal. In the second mission, Mario must defeat Li'l Brrs on the planet before said Launch Star appears. In the third mission, the planet is separated into two sides, one icy and one hot. Using a Temperature lever, Mario must switch the hot and cold sides before getting to the Launch Star.
Molten Mountain[]
Essentially the main planet of the galaxy, this area is a large volcano with rocks and lava surrounding it. It has a similar design to the Freezy Peak in Freezeflame Galaxy, but water and ice is lava, and the summit part is now an enormous volcano. Cindy Cinder is found on the third floor of the mountain. Li'l Cinders and Lava Geysers appear on this planet.
Frozen Core[]
The Frozen Core is the Blistering Core from Freezeflame but frozen. Most of the core has been walled off by frozen packets of ice. The areas that can be explored contain Urchins, Li'l Brrs, Cold Water, Ice Bats and Goombas. Mario must navigate the core and find a Fire Flower to activate torches to reveal the Power Star.
Hot and Cold Planet[]
Mario can only properly navigate the planet when cold. He must find a Temperature Lever and reverse the hot and cold sides to progress. He must find another one on the opposite side and reverse the temperatures again. By Ground Pounding a Switch on the opposite side, more platforms appear at the starting area, where Mario must quickly traverse back to activate two torches which reveal the Launch Star.
Hot and Cold Platforms[]
Using a temperature lever, Mario must carefully navigate across these platforms without touching the lava bits. Reaching the end grants him a Power Star. In the Cosmic Mario race, it is all icy, but there is more terrain to navigate.
