Tigzon (Japanese: ティグゾン) is a 3D action-adventure platformer, beat-em-up, role-playing game hybrid video game developed and published by for the Sohnix MechaByte, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, the V2, Onyx, and all consoles. It was released on TBA, worldwide on all console, with its “Tiger-Mode Edition” special edition released later for on the Sohnix MechaByte and The V2 on TBA.

The first main game in the series, it chronicles the adventure of 17-year old teenager Tai Z. Tigzon, who obtains the right to transform into a Zonamorph, a mystical and powerful spirit. Highly skills for his flowmotion, speed, and fighting combos, he takes his action against an underground organization ANTIX Corporation whose plans are to create and establish a personal and superior beast army while avoiding the military defense force known as Revolution Entity of Defenses (or commonly known as R.E.D).

Story

In the world of Azhara City, Tai Z. Takara, a video game, anime fanboy, and a troublemaker is best known for his parkour and graffiti art. Living with his adopted father; Heyoto Hyundai, He had stumbled upon a gift, given by his real father who went missing when he was 10 years old. It turns out to be a mystical power, allowing him to transform into a beast spirit, a "Zonamorph” by the name of a “TigerStar". Meanwhile, the CEO of a multi-industry company, ANTIX Corporation, Mr. Matin Maximum work together with Mayor Velo (who reveals to be possessed by an evil Zonamorph) to experiment on humans by convert and transform them into Zonamorphs and brainwashing them into becoming members of the organization. They plan to create and establish a personal and superior Zonamorph army.

The military defense force, known as the Revolution Entity of Defenses (or most commonly, the R.E.Ds) had hunted down people who happen to be Zonamorphs in the past, which resulted in a conflict between the society and the people who are possessed with Zonamoprhs spirits. Tai Z. Takara noticing the conflict and tries his best to avoid himself from becoming a Zonamorphs. Meanwhile, Noora Natsumi, a 17-year-old mysterious teenage girl with a given Zonamorphs transformation of Nightless, was tasked to kill Mr. Matin Maximum as revenge over her deceased father, who was killed in the process by Mr. Lore Maximum, Matin's grandfather.

Highly skilled for his flowmotion, speed, and fighting combos, Tai Z. Takara and his spiritual companion take his action against an underground organization ANTIX Corporation.

Will he save the chaos from the ANTIX, R.E.Ds, or will he find his mysterious father?

The World

Azhara City

Tigzon is set in a fictional world of Azhara City. A large, metropolitan city, and the hometown of Tai Z. Takara / Tigzon the TigerStar. Taking inspirations from cities such as Dubai, Tokyo, New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong, and Singapore, each area consists of well-known attractions such as its most visited island destination, Mango Island, a huge Downtown Sohr City, and a special entertainment destination, Shams Al-Shibuya.

ANTIX Corporation is a multi-industry organization that owns different mediums; leisure, entertainment, fitness, healthcare, and other business companies. Although they focus on their usual businesses, they have a dark side as they own an underground organization. They used it as an experiment on victims to convert and transform them into beasts known as the "Zonamorph" and mind-controlling them into becoming loyal members of the organization. Their plans are to create and establish their personal and superior Zonamorph army.

Revolution Entity of Defenses (or R.E.Ds in short) is a worldwide military and law enforcement organization, led by current commander Hasmin Sadioki which seeks to protect the earth from all sorts of threats, including the Zonamorphs, and other suspects. R.E.Ds. has vast resources, including an army of soldiers, peacekeepers, fighter planes, and other instruments of warfare.

Gadgets & Gizmos (also shortened to simply as G&G) is an electronic, and repair store, owned by Heyoto Hyundai. The store includes video games, mobile phones, other electronics and has a repair section where Anna "Ani" Polar fixes the items.

Sohr Village is a suburban area of Azhara City and hometown of Tai Z. Takara and Gadgets & Gizmos. The area features villas, shops, and a well-known arcade center called Fantazi World, which features arcade games and video game stuff.

Mango Island is Azhara City’s most visited island destination which is connected to the main downtown of Azhara City. It includes a boutique, small shops, souq, and a beachside. It also the home of Arina "Ari" Sai, Ani and Tina's cousin and Mr. Yaku Sai, Heyoto's brother.

Gameplay

Basics

Tigzon is a 3D action-adventure platformer with a mixture of role-playing and beat-em-ups genre elements, described as a “Sonic the Hedgehog meets Mega Man Legends” game. Players control the main protagonist Tai Z. Takara, who obtains his power to transform into his spirit of a TigerStar, as he ventures to defeat ANTIX Corporations. When playing the titular character Tigzon, he has a unique range of gameplay that allows the player to speed dash and perform a variety of flowmotion moves (similar to Sonic the Hedgehog, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts 3, respectively) while using both melee and long-ranged attacks (in a vein of beat-em-ups genres). Tigzon can perform double jump for extra height, backflips, and destroy background objects and doors. The gameplay’s camera is rotated, and an enemy can be locked on.

The players have a health point meter, in which it can be refilled by collecting the crystals with a 虎 (stands for as Tiger in Chinese). The 虎 Crystal can be found by hitting the enemies or finding them throughout levels. Being hit by enemies and bosses' attacks reduces the character's health, and life is deducted when no health remains. If all lives are lost, a game over screen appears; however, players may freely restart from the save point. Extra lives can be found within levels, as can uses power-ups like shields and invincibility.

When starting the game, players are placed in open-ended hub worlds, inhabited by non-player characters who give advice and hints. Players will be guided and instructed by phone calls from characters like Anna “Ani” Polar and her robot Spinx. When exploring, players can access levels called “Phases” (similar to “Action Stages” in Sonic Adventure), some of which must find keys hidden in the hub world. Once players enter the Phases, they must complete each different task; such as reaching the end, collecting some of the Chaffies creatures, and finding the hidden keys. Some levels include “minigames” that separate from the main storyline.

Mahrids	Mahrids are main currency of the game and it can ve dropped from enemies or found in opened. They are differnet types of Mahrid, each having a different amount and rarity. The name "Mahrid" is Dirhams (money in Emirati Arabic) in backward. Cyan - Cyan Mahrids drops to worth of 10 Mahrids Pink - Pink Mahrids drops to worth of 50 Mahrids Green - Green Mahrids drops to worth of 100 Mahrids
Heatlh Plus	Health Plus are used to increase light healing to your health meter without needing an item to restore it. It can be found when defeating certain enemies.
Chaffies	Puffies are cute, little ball-like species that can be used as a sheild to protect players from enemies. They can be used when freeing them from the cage.
Angel Chaffies	Angel Puffies can used as a sheild to protect players from huge enemies. However, they have an ability to heal the player's health. They can be used when freeing them from strong cage.
Extra-life Chaffies	Extra-lifes are puffies that ressembles both Tigzon and Nightless allowing the Player to respawn if they die in any Stage. Its a useful item that can be used before facing the bosses and the final bosses. Player will lose a life if they're hit by an enemy attack while out of The 虎 Crystals , causing them to respawn at the last Checkpoint.
The 虎 Heart	The 虎 Hearts are used to increase the player to maximum unit of health

Azhara City	The main hub of the game. A large, metropolitan city, and is the hometown of Tai Z. Takara/Tigzon the TigerStar. It resembles the North American, Middle Eastern and East Asian nations with each section, largely based around cities such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hong Kong. Its languages and cultures are mostly combinations of English, Chinese, Arabic, and Japanese. When it comes to inhabitants, humans are the most common ones in this world.
Mango Island	Azhara City's most popular island destination. It is a lesurie and enteretianment island, filled with marketplace, shoppings, and fish market. The stage is inspired by Abu Dhabi's Yas Island, and Dubai's Palm Jumeria, Dubai Marina and Juemira Beach Town.
Zol Al- Mubarak Desert	A desert ruin that is connected to Mango Island, Azhara City. It has a inside cave that features some anicent artifacts which led to history of the spirits. Tigzon (as a spirits) stated that he was one of the Tiger-Star clans.
Sol Downtowns	A huge metropolis and a "Downtown Duabi" of Azhara. The best destintation which is filled with shopping malls, opera house, markets and business outlets.
ANTIX Headquaters	ANTIX Headquarters is the underground corporations and a scientific organization, which had abducted and experimented on both innocent people (in order to convert and transform them into Zonantix) and natural Zon spirits. Dr. Matin Maximum and Majarr (disguise as a human man) are the CEO of ANTIX and their goal is to brainwash the Zonantix into becoming loyal members of the organization and that ANTIX itself had sought to create and establish a personal and superior Zonantix military army which would help them to world domination.
ANTIX Airship	An large airship which was planned to use them as to dominate the city of Azhara, using their Zonantix army.

Azhara City Sahara Town Village	The first stage of the Tai/Tigzon's story. A homewtown to Tai Z. Takara/Tigzon the TigerStar and a suburb of Azhara City, the stage is a unique place where Tigzon can perform his flowmotion abilities, acted as an intro stage to the game. This is the only stage/phases in the Azhara City hub world. A stage is also included in the Noora/Nightless' story.
Mango Island Mango Island Market	The Phase 1 of Mango Island stage, it starts with the marketplace with fish markets and other shops. The difficult of this stage are the placement of the enemies and the hazards. It takes a pro to perform a flowmotion abilites and fighting combos. The Phase 2 of Mango Island stage, it starts in nighttime at the water resorts. Unlike first stage, the difficult of this stage are performing flowmotion abilites and stages elements such as loop-loops and slides.
Zol Al- Mubarak Desert Zol Ruins	The Phase 1 of Zol Al- Mubarak Desert stage, it starts with the freej-like town in the mroning. The difficult of this stage are the huge enemies and some hazards. Performing a flowmotion abilites and fighting combos takes time to master. The Phase 2 of Zol Al- Mubarak Desert stage, it starts in nighttime inside the ruins.
Sol Downtown Burj Majara	The Phase 1 of Sol Downtown stage, it starts inside shopping mall in the mroning. The difficult of this stage are the enemies and some other hazards. Performing a flowmotion abilites and fighting combos takes time to power-up. The Phase 2 of Sol Downtown stage, it starts in nighttime in the marketsplace.
ANTIX Headquarters FINAL ANTIX	The last main phase in ANTIX Headquarters stage, it starts inside headquaters and it is probally the most difficult stage in the game. The difficult parts are the horde of enemies, hazards and some sections in the stages. Performing a flowmotion abilites and fighting combos takes practice to level-up. In order to beat the game, you must collect the keys to unlock the final stage of the game (which is an airship).
ANTIX Airship Airlantic Parade - Final Phase	The final phase of the game, it starts with Tigzon flying and lands to the back of the airship. The most difficult part of the stage is the movement of the airship, which tited the camera of the stage and reverse the controls of the players. Flowmotion are needed to perform in this final stage.
Bonus Phase	The bonus stage of the game. Player must colelct many Mahrids as soon as the time runs out.

Mini-Games

Snowboarding

Snowboarding is one of the four minigames that can be accessed through some arcade cabinets at an Arcade store, Fantazi World. You play as Tigzon the TigerStar and the objective is to snowboard down tracks, dodging Spinx-shaped snowballs, bombs, and other hazards, doing tricks off-ramps, and collecting gems. A Time Attack mode for this minigame can be unlocked by getting a "B" score on all to race against their best time. In the DLC expansion, The Nightless Story, Noora Natsumi is playable in this minigame.

Battle Station

Battle Station or Battle Mode is one of the four minigames that can be accessed through some arcade cabinets at an Arcade store, Fantazi World. Players can choose characters from the main story and compete against each other in a Power Stone-style mode.

Devix the Devil-Hog

Devix the Devil-Hog is one of the two minigames that is accessible through the console in Anna "Ani" Polar room. Devix the Devil-Hog is retro-style speed-based mascot platformer featuring the titular "Sonic the Hedgehog mix Astro Boy" devil-like creature named Devix the Devil-Hog as his task is to save his girlfriend from the evil Dr. Satanoid. The gameplay while plays similar to the first Sonic the Hedgehog game, had a unique take on the character as his ability is charging with electricity when collecting Electroids, a battery-like item that charges his powers.

Devix the Devil-Hog has 10 levels in total, each with different level designs and gimmicks. There are only three bosses in this game (including BalloonCopter, Xivdev, and Dr. Satanoid).

Fantazi Harriers

Fantazi Harriers is one of the two minigames that is accessible through the console in Anna "Ani" Polar room. Fanatazi Harriers is a retro-style thrid person rail shooter, similar to Space Harrier, set in a weird, surreal world composed of brightly colored landscapes adorned with checkerboard-style grounds and stationary objects such as trees or stone pillars. The title character named Fantazi navigates a continuous series of 10 distinct stages while utilizing an underarm jet-propelled laser cannon that enables Fanatazi to simultaneously fly and shoot.

The objective is simply to destroy all enemies range from weird creatures and Chinese dragons to flying robots, airborne geometric objects and alien pods—all while remaining in constant motion in order to dodge projectiles and immovable ground obstacles.

3 DLC is announced, each of them will add new stages, new guest appearances, and new, cool outfits for Tigzon.

Sonic Tigzon the HedgeStar!?	Said to be the world's fastest blue hedgehog, Sonic Tigzon has the ability to run faster than the speed of sound, hence his name, and possesses lightning fast reflexes to match. Sonic Tigzon can also roll up into a concussive ball, primarily to attack enemies.
Bowie Tigzon the TeddyStar!?	Bowie Tigzon is a lightweight fighter that rounds upon his enemies, using his trademark rope. This rope can be used to snatch his enemies and squeeze them to dish out damage or to otherwise suplex them into the floor or into walls. He can also lasso items from a distance over to himself for his own personal gain.
Redge Tigzon from KillGames	One of the game's main protagonists of a massive annual tournament, Redge Tigzon is a well-balanced damage, speed and defense, making him balanced overall. His straightforward moveset makes it easy for him to take down many opponents. His weapon in the Cauterizer, a chainsaw-sword that is powered by the flames of Hell.
Chibi Tigzon the Chibi TigerStar!?	A Chibi version of Tigzon the TigerStar. Nothing to say much about this costume. Basically the same version of Tigzon the TigerStar but in Chibi-fied
TigzonChuMon TigerStar + Hedgehog + Digimon + Pokemon!?	An original character and a mary sue of "Tristian Cheston Handler", a proclaimed biggest fan of Tigzon the TigerStar, Devix the Devil-Hog and Kopikimon. Created as a poorly-drawn comic book character by his creator, TigzonChuMon is a joke character who abilities is a combination of a thunder shock of a Pikachu, a speed of Sonic the Hedgehog, a mega evolution from Agumon, and a zonamorph of Tigzon the TigerStar. He also has a "Mega" evolution called "Super Mega TigzonChuMon."

Development

Tigzon was originally going to be a pitch idea for a remastered version of the

TIGZON - Gameplay mock-up (Rough Sketch 2) — Concept sketch of the gameplay for this game!

Sonic Adventure games called "Sonic Adventure 1+2 Remastered" for Sega (in a similar vein to Crash Bandicoot: N'Sane Trilogy and Spyro: Reignited Trilogy). Sega, however, denied and abandoned the project from the development team. Sohnix decided to recreate the project without success and started creating their original content, inspired by the success of Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series as well as the demise of the main 3D “Modern Sonic” games, following Sonic Forces.

The main inspirations for the game are Sega games, such as the Sonic the Hedgehog series (particularly the Sonic Adventure games and Sonic Unleashed) and the first-party Sega Dreamcast titles such as Jet Set Radio and Shenmue. Other inspirations are other video games such as Musashi Samurai Legend, Mega Man Legends, and Bloody Roar, anime and manga series such as Basquash!, Shaman King, Digimon, and Shaman King, Japanese animation studio Studio TRIGGER, American animated TV series such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003), and Teen Titans (2003), a science fantasy series of children's books, Animorphs, geek cultures, and street arts. The world-building of Tigzon is based on the 1990s-2000s cultures (such as old computers, disc, VHS tapes) while maintaining its modern-era technology (such a smartphone, VR, UHD 4K TV Screen).

Originally, the game was supposed to be a 2D Metroidvania-style platformer but was changed into a 3D action-adventure platform, taking inspirations from the Sonic Adventure series. The gameplay is a mix action-adventure, platforming, beat-em-ups, and role-playing game genres, which is one of the difficult experiences for the developers to create for the game. The game was planned as a launch title for the new console known as Sohnix MechaByte, created by Sohnix but was delayed to avoid competition to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The Trouble-Maker

A trouble-maker who sprays graffiti and performs parkour and freerunning. Being raised by Ani’s uncle, Heyoto Hyundai, he stumbles upon his mysterious powers, known as the Zonamorph, which allows him to transform into his beast form, namely Tigzon the TigerStar. When born, his father Ashiko Takara, a criminal who was once a natural Zonamorph and was arrested by the R.E.D soldiers (Revolution Entity of Defense) after murdering his client. With only vague memories of his past, Tai seeks his way to search for his secret and find out what happened to his father.

Tai Z. has an outgoing, fun personality, yet has a serious behavior. He is a whimsy troublemaker who loves causing mischief on his own such as being late to school, spraying graffiti on the street, and performing parkour stunts. Outside his mischief, He has an obsession with shonen manga/anime, action movies, and video games and is a huge fan of a fictional anime series, Hyper-Drive GotchaMan, and video games such as Devix the Devil-Hog.

Graffti Kick	Tai Z. uses his kicks to attack the enemies, damaging them with 4-6 damages. Holding a certain button will damage into 10-20.	Wheel Boost	Tai uses his rollblades to boost on to enemies, damaging 2-7 damages. Also performs with different techniques and combos when riding the rollblades.

The TigerStar

A tiger-like Zonamorph beast spirit companion of Tai Z. Takara, who is highly equipped with his flowmotion moves, speed, and fighting combos. Rumored to be a mighty spirit warrior, He is likely to be a mixture of a tiger and a fox, and has a more outgoing, fun personality, silly personality than his counterpart. His favorite things are eating food and training.

Noora Natsumi

the Fearless Loner

A friendly rival to Tai Z. Takara / Tigzon the TigerStar and a 17-year-old mysterious girl, Noora Natsumi stumbles upon a mysterious spiritual power known as the Zonamorph. Within this power, she has the ability to transform into her spirit companion Nightless, a demon-like Zonamorph who wears a dark blue-colored fox mask and wields sharp claws for combat. Noora, alongside her friend and sidekick, Yami Zu, plans to defeat the ANTIX Corporation as revenge for her father.

Noora was once a child of the Zaharan clan leader, who was killed by Mr. Lore Maximum, Matin's grandfather. She was kidnapped in the process by the ANTIX Corporation and was used as an experiment that creates beast-like soldiers. She manages to escape, as she was rescued by the Revolution Entity of Defense (R.E.D) and manages to be adopted by a former ANTIX scientist, Royko Kazwani. Chain Wipe	Noora uses her sharp chain under her sleeves to sting her opponent, which deals 3-4 damages and 7 damages when holding 'B.' When the opponents were hit by holding the chain, they launch weakly into the air, and they are paralyzed for a moment.	Leaping Dream	Noora uses her technique where she kicks with her right legs to her opponents, which deals 3 damage points. They are a different range of kicks.
Hide and Slash	With this technique, Noora is extremely quick with teleportation as she can teleport and slashes to opponents without noticing them, damaging 8-10 points.	Sleep Dragon Throw	Noora uses this technique to slide down and flipped the opponents using her legs, damaging 7-8 points.

A demon-like Zon spirit companion and the transformation of Noora Natsumi. Highly skilled for her techniques of ninjutsu and shapeshifting, she can shape-shift into different kinds of forms, such as shaping her hands into a sword.

She tends to be sidetracked with her present of his father who is an entrepreneur working for the ANTIX Corporation. She also has a secret crush on Tai Z. Takara, although she tends to hide it from him. She also created a robot penguin named Spinx.

Known for her martial arts skills, given by her grandfather, she is a bit of a sassy, naive, and selfish girl who likes to pick on Tai. Z who acts as her rival. Her hobbies are reading books, watching kung-fu movies, playing retro video games, learning martial arts techniques.
200px Spinx The Goofy Robo-Penguin	A penguin-like robot, created by Anna “Ani” Polar as her pet robot. Acted as a tutorial guide for Tai / Tigzon, he is somewhat smart-wise but he is a bit of a sarcastic, goofy, and silly figure, used as comic relief.
Heyoto Hyundai Ani's Wacky Uncle Scientist	Anna “Ani” Polar’s uncle, Tai’s adopted father, a scientist, and an owner of the Gadgets & Gizmos store who used to work at ANTIX Corporations. He helps Ani build most of the gadgets and other inventions for Tai / Tigzon and somewhat has a lazy, but good-hearted personality. He often reads comics books and watches TV series such as The Warth of the Kings (a homage to "The Lord of the Rings").
130px Eden Zaiden Tai's Other Friend and a Handsome Let's Player	Tai Z. Takara's best friend. A geeky fanboy who loves wrestling, video games (particularly JRPG, and MMORPG), Eden, alongside with Tina and Ani Polar, is the only person who noticed Tai Z. transformation. He currently has a successful VidMore channel, "TigTocMoe," where he covers some video game walkthroughs, reviews, and montages of Tigzon the TigerStar's move.
200px Azid Khori Tai's Other Friend and Comic Book Jock	Tai Z. Takara's other best friend. Khori challenges himself to become the best gamer and rivals Tai Z. Takara on any video games he usually plays. He wasn't aware of Tai Z's transformation, like most people. During his free time, he is a collector of video games from the 80s-90s (NES to Sega to PSone), listens to heavy metal music and works on home movies and video games rental stores, owned by his father. He is a huge fan of a fictional video game character named Devix the Devil-Hog and has a crush on Tina Polar.
130px Rainn Midnight Tai's Other Friend and Gothic Girl	Tina Polar's friend. A gothic girl with emotionless, sarcastic, and grim personality, she doesn't usually get along with her friend Tina much. She often reads books about demons and other weird creatures, such as the "Book of Darkness" (~~Sonic 06 references, amirite?~~), and like Azid, she usually listens to heavy metal. She is the only one who believes that Tigzon was a werewolf at night.
Dr. Royko Kazwani (DLC) Noora's Adoptive Father	Dr. Royko Kazwani is Noora Natsumi's adoptive father and a former scientist for ANTIX Corporations. He is a former friend of Dr. Heyoto who knows about his plans for Tai / Tigzon and kept a secret about Noora's father from her.

Yami Zu / Meko

The Catty Popgirl

Yami Zu is a bubbly teenage girl and childhood friend of Noora Natsumi from the Tigzon series, who she is highly skilled for her acrobatics and gymnastics. Her "Zonamorph" transformation is Meko, a lynx-like form that wields sharp claws as her weapon.

During her past, she was being ill-treated by some kids during elementary school, only to be pushed out by 5-year old Noora Natsumi, who at the time, was adopted by a former ANTIX Corporation’s scientist, Roki Kazwani. She becomes friends with Noora and gradually sticks with her as she wishes her to make Noora happy. An excitable yet clumsy, her personality appears to be very childish at times and act as rather silly and goofy. Her favorite hobbies are watching kaiju movies, playing toys, even at the age of 17. She also has a strong love interest in her, making her more of a lesbian character.

Originally, the game was supposed to be a 2D Metroidvania-style platformer but was changed into a 3D action-adventure platform with open-world environments, taking inspirations from the Sonic Adventure series.
They are different changes to the game;
- Anna "Ani" Polar was originally going to be named Leaf Loola but was changed, due to a similar name to Leaf (from the Pokemon core game series).
- The setting is originally set in a fictional city named Digital City (inspired by Dubai and Tokyo) but was scrapped.
The character Tigzon the TigerStar was originated from a Sonic original character (or Sonic OC) named Flash the Fox (who also had an orange-colored fur). He was later developed into an original identity to avoid similarities of the well-known Sonic the Hedgehog character.

Like Sonichu, TigzonChuMon is a mix of Sonic the Hedgehog, Pikachu (from the Pokemon series), and Augmon (from the Digimon series). Tristian Cheston Handler is also a parody of Sonichu creator, Christian Weston Chandler
