Pichu is a returning downloadable playable character in Super Smash Bros. Calamity, returning from Super Smash Bros. Melee and being one of the few characters available for download from the "Return" fighter pack along with Young Link and Snake.

Changes

Pichu now has an on-screen appearance, more taunts and victory animations, and a Final Smash.

Majority of Pichu's moves have been changed to make it a semi-clone of Pikachu.

Some of Pichu's moves that have been changed do not use electricity, meaning Pichu has less moves that does give it recoil.

Final Smash causes Pichu to "faint"; causing it to fall unconscious for ten seconds, leaving it open for attacks.

Down special				Thunder				Similar to Pikachu, Pichu calls down a thunder bolt from a thundercloud that deals damage. If the thunderbolt hits Pichu, it will create an electrical shockwave which deals moderate knockback. Pichu has an alternate where one of its ears into a spiky-like ear, and two alternates that turn it into Plusle and Minun. While the two play similar to Pichu, the crowd and announcer acknowledge them as separate characters.
