READERS, I am so sorry for the inactivity on this page! This game will be finished though, I promise, and I am already thinking of ideas for a new game!

Super Mario 3-D Galaxy is an upcoming Mario game for the 3DS. It is a follow-up to the Galaxy games for the Wii. It is also the first Galaxy game to be released on a handheld title. It was announced on October 6, 2013 and was originally set to be released sometime in summer 2015, but has been delayed. It was created by Super Sunshine Inc., and is their first game.

Description[]

Join Mario on a new handheld space adventure as he blasts through many new galaxies designed specially for the 3DS! New powerups such as the Chicken Suit, which lets you glide through the air with ease! Old powerups also return, like the Tanooki Suit and Goomba's Shoe! You can also experience the full adventure in 3D with a friend! Join the adventure today! Coming 2015.

This game has been optimized for the new 3DS! There are exclusive features such as bonus galaxies and being able to play as your Mii!

This game has Miiverse compatibility!

Story[]

The Mushroom Kingdom is celebrating the 7th anniversary of the Star Festival, a festival when stars and magic stardust fall on the Kingdom. The anniversary also happens to be Rosalina's birthday. Lubba, the Toads and the Lumas are all there for the special occaison. But one important guest is missing: Rosalina! Mario goes to the Comet Observatory to find her, but she isn't there! Only a letter. It says:

Dear Mario:

Gwahahahaha! You may have defeated me in the past, but I'll still get the last laugh! Gwahahahaha! I have kidnapped your little puny princess Rosalina. With her at my side, we shall rule the universe together! And you can't stop me! So, whatever you do, do NOT AT ALL COSTS COME AND TRY TO DEFEAT ME! Why? Because you can't!

Bowser

Panicked, Mario runs back to the Mushroom Kingdom, and tells the others about the bad news. Just then, a Toad in a lab coat comes up to Mario. He introduces himself as Inventoad. He tells Mario he created a portal that supposedly leads to the center of the universe, but you have to travel through many dimensions to get there. Mario tries it out, but it only takes him to a world map showing multiple galaxies, with only one unlocked. Inventoad apologizes and tells him that he hasn't quite finished it yet. He then says that in the meantime, Mario should go and collect some Power Stars and bring them to him because they are used for the creation of his portal. So Mario jumps into the portal, flies over to the Goomba Hills Galaxy, and the adventure begins!

	Chicken Suit	Turns Mario into Chicken Mario. Allows him to glide through the air and while gliding, throw chicken eggs down at enemies.
	Rock Mushroom	Turns Mario into Rock Mario. Allows him to turn into a rock by shaking the Wii Remote and he can roll into enemies and boulders, therefore knocking them out.
	Cloud Flower	Turns Mario into Cloud Mario. Allows him to make up to 3 cloud platforms by shaking the Wii Remote that he can walk on. He can also walk on other clouds. He can grab another Cloud Flower to refill his clouds back to three if he needs to.
	Tanooki Suit	Turns Mario into Tanooki Mario. Allows him to fly for a short time when he runs and fills up the P-Meter and to turn into a statue for a short time to hide from enemies.
	Metal Mushroom	Turns Mario into Metal Mario. Allows him to walk on lava and do Super Ground Pounds (when he ground pounds, he defeats all enemies on the screen) for a short time. Metal Mario sinks in water.
	Fire Flower	Turns Mario into Fire Mario. Allows him to throw fireballs at enemies for a short time by shaking the Wii Remote.
	Ice Flower	Turns Mario into Ice Mario. Allows him to throw ice balls at enemies and freeze them, creating ice blocks (similar to New Super Mario Bros. Wii), for a short time. Mario can also, while he is Ice Mario, make hexagonal-shaped ice platforms across water.
	Goomba's Shoe	This shoe is worn by a normal Goomba until Mario hits the shoe from below and is able to ride in it. He can then jump around and crush enemies. Mario loses the shoe when another Goomba's Shoe stomps him.
	Mega Mushroom	Turns Mario into Mega Mario. Allows him to walk around and crush enemies for a short time.
	Vine Flower	Turns Mario into Vine Mario. Allows him to create up to 3 vines at a time that he can swing on by shaking the Wii Remote. He can also knock out enemies if he creates a vine close to an enemy and swings towards him. He can grab another Vine Flower to refill his vines back to three if he needs to.
	Bee Mushroom	Turns Mario into Bee Mario. Allows him to fly for a short time and stick to honeycomb walls. Mario can recharge his flight by landing on a surface for a couple seconds.
	Boo Mushroom	Turns Mario into Boo Mario. Allows him to float in the air and go through special walls.
	Shuriken Flower	Turns Mario into Shuriken Mario. Allows him to throw 3 shurikens at a time. If Mario does a Star Spin while throwing shurikens, then they will go in all directions.
	Rainbow Star	Turns Mario into Rainbow Mario. Makes him completely invincible for a short time. He can also run faster than usual when he has this power-up.
	Wing Cap	Turns Mario into Wing Mario. Allows him to fly for a short time when he does a Triple Jump.
