Foos are cloud-like enemies that appear in the Mario series, first appearing in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. They blow fog to temporarily obscure part of the area. Any attack can defeat a Foo, and a Spin Jump can clear its fog.
Super Mario 3D World introduces a derived species, the Ty-foo.
