Gamemodes[]

The game has 4 modes: Games Mode, Switch Mode, Online Mode, or Practice Mode.

Games Mode[]

In this mode, you choose your character and have the games. When you die, you can choose to either spectate, which will allow you to watch the NPCs, or choose to end, which will show a very speedy version of the rest of the games, and then will declare a winner.

Switch Mode[]

In this mode, it is recommended to fill the roster with characters you like, because if the character you chose dies, you must pick another character in the games already to continue playing as!

Online Mode[]

In online mode, you connect to the internet and play with others. There can be anywhere from 3 to 24 people playing at the same time! Also, in online mode, you can connect through download play too.

Practice Mode[]

In practice mode, you can practice the games. Try out different weapons, work on your strategy, even summon some characters to practice on!

Characters[]

There are 24 characters for many of the games featured, which is enough to set up an entire game with each game.

Mario Characters[]

Zelda Characters[]

Fire Emblem Characters[]

Splatoon Characters[]

Miscellaneous[]

Settings[]

Before the games start, you will be asked to do a few things. Choose the characters (or use a preset list), choose the difficulty (easy, moderate, or hard), choose the arena, choose the supplies, and toggle sponsors on or off.

Supplies[]

Supplies are the heart of the games. They consist of weapons, provisions, and other items. The weapons are Sword, Axe, Dagger, Knife, Bow, Arrows, Spear, and Trident. The provisions are bread, cheese, apple, meat, and water. The other items are Med Kit, Water Purifier, Sleeping Bag, Lighter, Pillow, and bandages. Also, inside the arena, tributes can find clean water, meat, apple, or dirty water. They can also find fire wood.

Arenas[]

There are several arenas, with all but 1 themed after games. You can find the full list here.

Preset Lists[]

Preset Lists make setting up the games easier. They each contain 24 tributes, so once you’ve picked your character you can just choose one to use. If the character you chose is not part of the set, you can chose to either change your character or choose a person on the list to not participate. Fire Emblem, Mario, Sonic, Splatoon, and Legend of Zelda already have preset lists with the characters from their series on them.

Trivia[]

  • Game Data was found in the game for the following unused characters:
    • Aryll was probably scraped because of age.
    • Goomba and Luma because of height restrictions, and their code was used in the Mario Arenas.
    • Dimentio because of him being paper.
  • Through hacks, Pauline was changed to her Odyssey look and her Donkey Kong look, and Parakoopa's colors were changed.
  • In the trailer, Peach was seen as sitting in a lone Kirby-esque tree, which was surronded by Waddle Dees. However, in the Whispy Woods arena, their are no Waddle Dees, and trees are very dense.
