Super Smash Bros. Cyber

Super Smash Bros. Cyber is a game for the Nintendo Switch that was developed by ATK Studios as a sort of what-if game, imagining what it would be like if studio head Andrewtheking ^(t∣b∣c) was the director of the Super Smash Bros. series as opposed to series creator Masahiro Sakurai.

Gameplay

Super Smash Bros. Cyber is a 2D multiplayer fighting game in which players use four special moves, a variety of normal attacks and various techniques to deal damage to their opponents in order to knock them out of the arena. Each player has a percentage bar shown at the bottom of the screen, which increases with each hit they take; the higher the percentage, the greater chance they have of being KO'd.

Unlike traditional fighting games, in which most characters have complex button input combinations players need to memorize, every character has the same button inputs. Each character has standard ground attacks, Smash attacks, aerial attacks, grabs and throws, and four special moves unique to said character. Players are also able to dodge and shield. They also have a powerful move known as a Final Smash, which can be used after breaking a Smash Ball that appears randomly on the stage. If turned on, items from various series represented in the game sometimes appear on the battlefield to assist players.

New to this game is the improved water physics. In previous games, fighters who enter the water would swim up to the surface. They would need to jump out of the water as quickly as possible, or else they would drown and suffer a KO. However, in this game, fighters are able to swim though and fight in the water. When underwater, the charterer's falling speed and gravity are greatly reduced, and they are able to jump unlimited times. However, a water meter will appear under their percentage bar as soon as they enter the water, which will gradually decrease as time goes on. In order to stop this, the fighter has to go back to the surface for air. Otherwise, they will drown and suffer a KO.

This game also now brings tag mode to the series for the first time. Players select two fighters and have them tag in and out during the match. If timed right this can even lead into a combo. Players can control both fighters, have a CPU control one or even have one controlled by another player. This can be done both locally and online.

Peach	Peach is the extremity iconic and bubbly princess of the Mushroom Kingdom and Mario's main love interest and damsel in distress. Peach rules over the Mushroom Kingdom from her huge castle, watching over her mushroom-retaining Toad servant people. She more often than not finds herself being kidnapped by Bowser and his minions and having to be rescued by Mario and his friends. Toad	Toad is a member of the mushroom-like Toad race. A race native to the Mushroom Kingdom. Most of them have white heads with red polka dots, but there are other colors as well And there are even female variants known as Toadettes. They are loyal followers of Princess Peach who often serve as shopkeepers or even allies to Mario. They are Loyal to Princess Peach and often try and fail to protect their princess from Koopa King and and his men. This Toad seen here is the who is sometimes seen joining Mario on his adventures. Yoshi	Yoshi is a green member of the Yoshi race. A dinosaur-like race of beings from a large island known as Dinosaur Land. They are known for being extremely friendly and helpful and for their ability to go at great speeds and large tongues, which can be used to grab ahold of almost anything. A particular clan of Yoshis once even helped a young Mario reunite with his brother when he was separated from Luigi as a baby. Donkey Kong	Donkey Kong is a red tie-clad gorilla who lives a peaceful and calm life in the lush jungles of Donkey Kong Island. He lived a peaceful tranquil life on the island until the day his beloved Banana Horde came under the clutches of the dastardly King K. Rool and his Kremling Krew. Since that fateful day, he, and the other members of the Kong clan, have gone on numerous other adventures, facing off against antagonists such as the dread pirate Lord Fredrik, Tiki Tong and the Tiki Tak Tribe, and the deadly Ghastly King. Link	Link is the name that is held by those chosen by the Goddess Hylia to protect the kingdom of Hyrule from harm and to wield the Triforce of Courage. They are the ones destined to use the Master Sword to slay the great evil known as Ganon and save Princess Zelda and her kingdom. Most versions of Link are known for wearing green tunics and carrying a large arsenal of gadgets and weapons. It is said that there will always be a Link to stop whatever new evil arises. Zelda	Zelda is a name given to those who wield the Triforce of Wisdom and the descendant of the true royal bloodline of Hyrule. Often acting as the crown princess of Hyrule. Or sometimes even it's Queen. It is said that she is the chosen avatar of the Goddess Hylia. Due to her connection to the Triforce she often finds herself hunted by would-be Gerudo conqueror, Ganondorf. Samus	Samus is an intergalactic mercenary and bounty hunter who was born on the Earth colony of K-2L and its lone survivor after the Space Pirate known as Ridley burned the colony to the ground and killed Samus's parents. She was found and raised by the ancient and wise Chozo race, becoming infused with their own DNA and DNA from the race known as the Metroids. They are the ones who built her Power Suit. Kirby	Kirby is a cute little 8-inch high pink puffball who lives on the peaceful planet of Pop Star with his friends. Despite his small size, Kriby seems to have an endless appetite. He can swallow anything or anyone up with his gigantic mouth and even has the power to inhale his opponents and steal their abilities. Kriby may look sweet and innocent but time and time again he has defended his homeworld from villains like King Dedede, Dark Matter, Magolor, Queen Sectonia and many more. King Dedede	King Dedede is the hammer-wielding self-proclaimed king of Dream Land. But he actually doesn't have a lot of interest in ruling, meaning that the citizens of Dream Land continue to live as they always have. He really loves to eat, being almost as greedy as Kirby. He seems to get possessed a lot. being possessed three times by Dark Matter, once by Yin-Yarn and once by Daranza. Whilst he has a rivalry with Kirby, he will work with him from time to time. Pikachu	Pikachu is a small rodent-like Electric-type Pokémon which takes the spot of number 025 in the National Pokédex. Due to being pure Electric-type Pokémon. It has the ability to use variety of electricity-based attacks in combat. Pikachu evolves from a Pichu and can evolve into Raichu if exposed to a Thunder Stone. Litten	Litten is a small cat-like Fire-type Pokémon which is given to new trainers in the Alola region. Trainers also have the choice of Rowlet and Popplio. Litten has a strange quick in which stores fur that it licks from its own body in its stomach, which it can light ablaze and spit from its mouth in combat. Items

Name	Description
Smash Ball	This item will appear and float around while players attempt smash it in order to get it. Once it has been smashed, the player who smashed it will gain the ability to do a powerful Final Smash move.
Assist Trophy	When used, it will summon a random character from one of the many series represented in the game, that will either assist or hinder characters, or sometimes both. Individual assists can now be turned on or off in the item switch menu.
Mushroom	The iconic Mario mushroom. When picked will make the character who picked it up big and thus their attacks become stronger.
Weird Mushroom	Picking up this weird mushroom will make the e fighter will become a lankier, skinnier, overall weirder version of themselves. In this state, they will be able to jump higher at the cost of being a lot weaker and easier to hit.
Fire Flower	Once picked up it gives the player the ability to throw fireballs at their opponents. These can be thrown in small bursts or charged up, which will make them induce more damage.
Metal Box	When the Metal Box is picked up, the character who picked it up will turn into a metal versions of themself that can take a ton more damage and is much heavier. It makes it much harder to fight underwater.
Back Shield	When picked up it guards the back of the character, reflecting any shots or projectiles that come from behind.
Bee Hive	Stumbling into this item will send a swarm of bees after you, which will chase you unless you manage to get into water in time. It can be thrown at your foes
Rocket Belt	Picking up this item will allow the player to wear it. Continually holding the jump button allows the user to float in the air. fter enough usage the Rocket Belt will fly upward, exploding on impact and dealing damage to any near by opponents.
E-Tank	Once the player uses this, it will put their damage back down to zero, as it does in its homeseries.
Ring Monitor	The player can hit this item, making explode and give the character 10 rings. When they have these rings, they can take an extra hit, and if they grab their rings after losing them due to a hit, they can keep this up.

Lakitu and Spinies	A breed of Koopa known for flying on a cloud. He drops Spinies from the sky, which wander around and damage opponents upon touch.
Chain Chomp	A beast native to the Mushroom Kingdom that looks a bit like a iron ball with a face. When summoned it will sit on a platform and chomp at passersbys, inflicting major damage. The platform can be destroyed, which will drop the spike it is attached to and it will run around and chase fighters.
Hammer Bro	A breed of Koopa known for throwing hammers at its enemies. When summoned it will jump up and down and throws a seemingly endless stream of hammers in a high arc.
Waluigi	A thin lanky weirdo who sees himself as Luigi's ultimate rival. When summoned, he'll change the nearest opponent and then pounds fighters into the ground with his feet. He then proceeds to thwack them with his foot or tennis racket.
Metroid	Metroids are organisms created by the Chozoand and discovered on the planet SR388. The Space Pirates and Galactic Federation both used them as bioweapons. When summoned the Metroid will latch onto the nearest opponent, gradually increasing their damage over certain amount of time. It can be attacked to prevent it from latching onto you.
Magnus	Magnus is a human warrior who is known for carrying an extremly large club-like sword. Once summonsed, he runs around the stage and slashes away at his opponents.
Nintendog and Nintencat	Cute little animals who can be kept as pets and played with. When summonsed either a Nintendog or a Nintencat will be appear, but they act the same. They will crawl up to the screen, obscuring the battle.
Alisa Bosconovitch	An android created by Mishima Zaibatsu scientist Doctor Bosconovitch in an attempt to recreate his deceased daughter Alisa. Alisa possesses emotions and acts more human than most robots. When summonsed, she will chase opponents using butterfly wing-like jets that she sprouts from her back. She uses the chainsaws hidden in her arms to slash at her opponents.
