Super Smash Bros. Obliteration features up to 101 Stages from various universes across the gaming world, Roughly Half of these stages are starter and half unlockable, there are also six stages, (One for each downloadable character which are obtained automatically through paid DLC upon downloading the character). Downloadable stages will appear in the bottom right section of the selection screen, In addition there is a stage creator function at the bottom right hand corner allowing the player to create up to 5 custom stages, these stages will then appear in the bottom left corner of the selection screen. The Majority of stages as in previous games also has the Omega (Ω) Function, during the which the stage has no additional platforms and is rather flat or can be made rather flat in appearance.

Stage Builder[]
Back from 3DS/WII U and similar in style, Stage Builder has returned and is now back for players to create to upward of 4stages from 8 different backgrounds, making the max stage amount in the game 105. This mode allows players to create their own custom stages by using the given stage parts, and in Super Smash Bros. Obliteration's case, drawing on the GamePad. Players can also choose from a variety of backgrounds and pick any song on the games' soundtracks.

Cannon (Strong)  |
A larger cannon that shoots players further. When facing upward, launches players

Moving Platform (Small)  |
Slowly moves from one point to the other, with an unlimited path. 6 units wide. Moves 3

Moving Platform (Large)  |
Over three times longer than the small one. 20 units wide. Moves 2.25 units/second (will move
9 units in 4 seconds). May overlap any object or platform, but endpoint must be at least 2 units away from the start. |
Magma (Small)  |
Painted over platforms, and damages 10% to players. Oddly, it can cause more weight depending on how much was drawn, no matter how much is used in the final result. Unlike Danger Zones, it doesn't instantly KO a fighter if they have over 100% Damage. 1.2 units thick. |
Magma (Large)  |
Works just like the thin one, but 2 units thick. |
Ice (Small)  |
Painted Over Platform Sections and Deals 10% Damage to Players for Stepping on it with a
1/10 Chance of Freezing the Character upon Stepping on an Icy Area, 1.3 Units Thick, and about 10 feet wide |
Ice (Large)  |
Same As Small, Just Around 20 Inches Wide, and 2 units thick. |
Electric Goop (Small)  |
Based off of Super Mario Sunshine, This Goop Electrocutes Opponents Who Step on it andhas a 1/10 chance of momentarily paralyzing a character who steps on it, 8 feet wide and 0.4 inches thick. |
Electric Goop (Large)  |
Same As Small, Just 16 inches wide and 2 inches thick. |
