Meta Knight is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Calamity. Meta Knight is, for the most part, portrayed as a mysterious character in the Kirby games. He is mainly Kirby's rival in games. He wields the Galaxia and operates a battleship called Halberd, which was originally used for war. Meta can fly around using his wings, slash with his Galaxia and disappear and reappear at will with his cape.

New back aerial that is stronger.
New down aerial, which deals more damage and meteor smashes.
Meta Knight is more agile with Mach Tornado when used in mid-air. He can also rise upwards with it when the special button is held down, used for recovery and kills at the upper blast line at low percents.
Drill Rush recoil is stronger, so Meta Knight gets pushed back afterwards further.
Galaxia Darkness, even when missed, still can hit opponents, as when it misses Meta Knight will just do a dashing stab forward that deals high damage and moderate knockback.

Meta Knight has four alternate costumes, one which turns him into Galacta Knight (who is acknowledged as a separate character from Meta Knight by the announcer and crowd), which changes his down aerial and Final Smash, one which turns him into Meta Knight's concept art design, or what fans call this concept, "Beta Knight" or "Butterfly (Meta) Knight", one which turns him into Mirror World Meta Knight (or Dark Meta Knight) and one that turns him into his appearance in the NES game, Kirby's Adventure.
