Princess Daisy (commonly known as just Daisy) is a new playable character introduced in Super Smash Bros. Calamity. Daisy is the princess of Sarasaland and is the love interest of Luigi. Daisy is portrayed as a tomboyish character and, hence her name, has an affinity for flowers, shown in her abilities and attire, though she uses crystals in her abilities as well. She first appeared in Super Mario Land as the dasmel-in-distress in that game.

Daisy has been lifted from being an alternate for Peach, to a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Calamity.
