Redwing's Super Smash Bros ver

This is all in Good Fun[]

I know i have some weird ideas but please understand that im just trying to have fun and be creative to show fantendo i truly care about this community and plus why be boring and mundane with smash bros rosters the fan mock ups i have seen are okay but thats for predicting the real smash games....this is fantendo a place ment for wild and crazy ideas so if you dont like this roster.....go make your own why don't ya. :)

But you can give me what you think of this roster just dont complain please.

Introduction[]

Okay after 3 Months of being gone im back and now i have better tools to make way better wiki pages so now i can make the ultimate smash bros game and you might be asking but ultimate is THE "Ultimate" smash bros game well it might be... UNTILL TODAY. I will be planning to bring back every mode, every fighter, every item, every stage and every music track and instead of Masahiro Sakurai being in charge of development me, myself and a huge crowd of dedicated smash fans will work to the bone to craft the most balanced, thought out, and largest fighting game in history, and to get to my interesting ideas faster i am choosing to do the movesets out of order due to having good ideas for a lot of the unique character picks i have but i dont want to wait and finish a franchise of fighters before i move on to another franchise and so on and so forth, i really hope you people dont mind this decision.

Meet the Roster[]

since this will be a continuation of ultimate of course everyone will be back but along with a ton of newcommers almost every veteran is getting updated movesets to better reflect the characters legacy a.k.a mario having cappy and samus having more weapons to harness you know, that kind of update but remember when i sayed almost every veteran because characters like Banjo-Kazooie, Captain Falcon and King. K Rool already have there most defining characteristics so there wont be a need to update their movesets, but how ever there wont be no limit on alternate costumes for character, for example one character can have 50+alts like mario while a character like kirby might only get 30 or so on and so forth.
Also comments on the rosters size are invalid because for one this isn't supposted to be realistic, two if your worried about my work load i will pace myself and take breaks when needed and three its called redwing's super smash bros this game is supposed to be formed to my liking just like other pages under the X's Super Smash Brothers tag but you can still tell me what you think just please dont tell me to cut half of the roster, that would be nice.

Also Shout out goes to Jake/Mirai Moon, Pyrostar and Fire Scyther for giving me a confidence boost and words of encouragment thanks my dudes.

The Movesets[]

Now it is time to do the movesets but i will only do specials, final smash, alts and give there stock icon, even though the roster isn't finished i might as well start on the Movesets for these characters a few of them will be unchanged like King. K Rool, Ridley and Banjo-Kazooie just to name a few. and if i include a character that doesn't have much source material i will improvise a move as long as it makes sence for the character in question.

Gameplay[]

Whats super smash brothers without gameplay, down here i'm showcasing the new ideas your's trully came up with, the gameplay features shown are ment to be fun and exciting because the last smash bros game to really contribute to gameplay....is smash bros melee and no final smashes dont count because, final smashes are finishers for each character and that didn't contribute as much as Side Specials, Spot dodging, air dodging 4 different grabs and charging up smash attacks and yes i do understand the importance of final smashes to but that was pretty much the only gameplay change in brawl that i can recall. I hope you like my ideas 'cause i worked really hard on them and i know you people might think differently but please be respectful.

Wavedashing: To curb the appetite of melee fans wavedashing is back and works how it did back in melee where you use directional air-dodgeing on the ground to make your character slide across the ground to cover more distance.

Circular Air-Dodging: New in this game is circular air dodging, while in the air press the ZR or ZL button and then rotate the control stick to do a circular air dodge this will help with attacks with wide range and will help with heavy characters because this type of dodge is momentum based so you can spam it but only with right timing and coordination to send characters flying up to help with recovery.

Zig-Zag Air-Dodging: Also new in this game is Zig-Zag Air-Dodging by pressing the ZL or ZR button and quickly flicking the control stick in a direction you will be able to zig-zag out of the way of hard to dodge attacks or to space out opponents if they get to close.

16 Player Smash: along with having 8 player smash back we now have 16 player smash to have truly chaotic battles and to have up to 32 Ice Climbers at once, trully wonderful.

Online 100 Player Smash: for online you can now have up to 100 players on screen but to alleviate the problem of lag and slow down special Mega stages are available in this mode stages that are as big as smash run and to keep things from getting to chaotic the camera is always zoomed in on your character.

Diagnal and Shield Specials: now each and every character has 2 addtional moves to give characters more options on fighting opponents, to give characters more references to their legacy and just to spice up battles like never before.

Big Battlefield Forms: along with Final destination and Battlefield forms now you have the option of big battlefield forms of stages too.

Footstool Damage: now when players perform footstools they will deal a small amount of chip damage to the opponent but at high enough percentages they can spike.

Multiple Final Smashes at Once: for the first time in smash history up to 16 final smashes can happen at once and if 2 final smash activate on the same character they can perform a final smash over-ride to over ride the other opponents final smash with pressing a and b at the same time.

Sliding: by dashing and holding down on the control stick fighters can perform slides to dodge attacks and final smashes and they can also act out of it with no end lag what so ever so they can perform easy combos.

Windbox Spot Dodge: press the ZL and ZR button and rotate the control stick the player can generate a small windbox to blow opponents back while on the ground.

Sweep Kick Roll: double tap the control stick while rolling to do a sweep kick to trip opponents the heavy/taller the opponent is the greater the damage.

Smash Attack Chain: with good timing you can keep your opponent in a chain of smash attacks with no end lag as long as your fast enough and time your button presses right but your attacks still stale if you use the same attack 2 times or more in a row.

Item Snatch: if you perform a smash attack on someone with a item equiped or if they are holding one you can snatch it away from them just like with the Dragoon/Day Break Parts but it works with every item.

Neutral Throw: if an opponent is grabbed and the player only uses pummels after the pummel time is up they will perform a neutral throw it deal less damage than a normal throw but it still knock opponents away.

Grab Block: if 2 opponents try to grab each other at the same time they will recieve some small chip damage and will fail to execute the grab.

Pivot Grab and Pivot Throw: a pivot grab is if a player grabs an opponent just as there about to turn the opposite direction and a pivot throw is if you perform a pivot grab then immediately throw them its hard to pull of but it does more damage than a normal throw.

Rocket Footstool: when performing a footstool press and hold up on the control stick to gain more hight than a normal footstool jump but its hard to time but will pay off when you do.

Aerial Grab and Aerial Throw: you now have the option of grabing and throwing in the air by pressing the L or R button in the air with an opponent next to them they will pause in the air before slowly decending they can pummel or perform a Back, Down, Up, Forward or Neutral Throw and each throw will be unique too.

Ledge Break: if a player is hanging on to a ledge walk on their hands/stubs ect. to knock them off the ledge you can also attack people holding on to a ledge.

Shield Throw: while shielding flick the control stick to throw your shield at an opponent that will turn into a burst of energy to hurt opponents the bigger the character = the more damage the burst will do.

Final Smash Disrupt and Final Smash Retry: you can disrupt a final smash by attacking the opponent the second there about to release their final smash if you do that their final smash will be gone but final smash canceling is only when you have the smash meter on if you fail to connect the final smash, before the animation is finished press the b button with the right timing to re-gain your final smash to try again you can do it as long as you want but its very hard to pull of and wont work with a smash ball.

Shield Break Cancel: just as your shield breaks press up b at the right time to get your shield back and to avoid a shield break useful for attacks with shield killer properties.

Modes and Customization[]

in every smash bros game comes a wide range of different modes and customization features to have the most comfortable and fun smash bros experiance, with rules, custom matches, special smash, all star mode and much, much more.

Classic Mode[]

unlike other smash games you can pick the style of classic mode you want ethier you want Smash 64 style classic mode where you only fight the original 8 on a straight line to the goal with break the targets, board the platforms and race to the finish all being recreated along with Smash 64's Final Destination and Meta Crystal being unlockable stages.

Melee style classic mode is randomized with what fighters you can fight and does include the full roster of characters and you will be able to play break the targets, trophy toss and race to the finish, all ending off with a fight with either a match against master hand, crazy hand or giga bowser.

Brawl style classic mode lets you fight franchises in a row starting with The Legend of Zelda then Donkey Kong, Super Mario, Pokemon, Star Fox, Earthbound, Metal Gear, Sonic the Hedgehog then the retro seires and then it ends off with a fight with either Master Hand, Crazy Hand or Both.

Wii U style classic mode sees you moving around a board of trophies to fight in random battles where you can roll a roulette before each battle to recieve some rewards after battle all ending off with Master Hand, Crazy Hand and Master Core/Master Fortress.

3DS style classic mode allows you to choose branching paths that have a specific franchise attached to them with some goodies on each path all ending off with a fight will Master/Crazy Hand and Master Core.

Ultimate style classic mode has every character get there own classic mode route that relates to that character ending off with a random boss fight.

Redwing's style Classic mode has the player choose 5 characters to travel around to different planets themed around different franchises with branching paths and sub areas containing little rewards all ending off with a random boss and or beefed up fighter.

All Star Colosseum[]

In previous smash game there was a mode called all star mode where the player fights the entire roster based on what franchise there from or from how old the character is, since this games roster is so gargantuan that we have to structure All Star Mode in a way that you can still fight all fighters but do it over the course of a few sessions because all star mode now has a save feature with save files so you can drop out and drop back in when ever you want, and to alleviate the tedium of having to play all star mode with every character you just have to beat it once to complete it due to its length.

After you start this mode you will be able to choose which room you want to go into first after you choose a door you will be thrown into a battle with the fighters of that franchise and battle around 5-10 opponents per round but you only fight 2 at once, after your done with the round a number will be above the door saying Ready For Round 2 on the door you just exited because you will still have to fight every fighter but not all in a row with only short breaks and you have infinite stocks due to players thinking that this mode will get boring and hard real fast.

Stadium Mode[]

in previous smash games stadium mode held a bunch of fun little side modes to clear for fun or for rewards, the minigames where Home-run Contest, Break the Targets, Board the Platforms, Multi-Man Smash, Target Blast and Race to the Finish but they have all been updated to redwing's super smash brothers style to feel more like a extra mode and not a mini game.

Home-Run Contest DX[]

in this version of home-run contest players first start off with a budget and gadgets to place around the field to send the sandbag further and fast with the more traps and gadgets you have, every time sandbag is damaged it will drop 5 coins to spend on more things to launch sandbag or temperary power up to use next round.

You can also buy coin multipliers to put on sand bag to make upwards to 400 coins per hit!

Board the Platforms Returns[]

in the new and improved board the platforms every character has there own custom layout and stage to test there jumping skills and acrobatics in these tightly crafted stages.

Break the Targets Returns[]

break the targets has been missing since brawl and even when it was in brawl there where only 5 difficulty settings meaning only 5 different stages well for this itteration every character has there own stage to test out there skills and accuracy to break targets and get rewarded with alternate costumes, prize coins and other collectables.

Target Blast DX[]

coming back from smash bros 4 is the new and improved target blast now complete with each character getting there own custom stage to suit there smash attacks and different launch distances also you can unlock different types of bombs to experiment with.

Race to the Finish Blitz[]

coming back from smash bros melee race to the finish has been updated to have randomly genrated paths and obstacles and different themes based off of what character you choose.

Trophy Snag DX[]

coming all the way back from smash bros melee trophy snag will allow you to snag unlockable trophies of characters, stages, items and more but unlike smash bros melee its a lot easier to get trophies into the basket due to the physics and knockback being reduced to snag a trophy with ease.

Custom Characters[]

in previous smash bros games the only customizable characters we had where the Mii's but i would like to introduce a few concepts of some cool custom characters i hope you like them.

Custom Inkling[]

aside from playing as the normal inklings you can now customize your very own inkling just like in splatoon. your given a color wheel to change the color of your inklings Hair/Ink, Skin color, Eye color and to top it all of you can dress up your inkling with a wide aray of costums and accessories and not only that but out fit your inkling with any weapon from splatoon 1 or 2, give them sub-weapons and special abilities to really spice up there moveset, you can also give them their own name.

Custom Pokemon Trainer[]

now along with the inklings you can now have your own custom pokemon trainer, you can choose your gender, hair style, clothes, skin tone and you can select any 3 pokemon from the roster to form a pokemon trainer team of your choice, you can switch out pokemon by side stepping and you can only customize a trainer if you have 3 or more pokemon unlocked, and just like custom inklings you can name them what ever you want.

Custom Mii Fighters[]

in past smash bros games you could customize 3 types of mii fighters brawler, gunner and swordfighter, now you have a lot more classes to choose from each with their own specials and stats.

  • Mii Swordfighter
  • Mii Gunner
  • Mii Brawler
  • Mii Athelete
  • Mii Surfer
  • Mii Knight
  • Mii Mage
  • Mii Tank
  • Mii Necromancer
  • Mii Ghostbuster
  • Mii Scientist
  • Mii Swimmer
  • Mii Android
  • Mii Thief
  • Mii Bowler
  • Mii Jester
  • Mii Sniper
  • Mii Boxer
  • Mii Football Player
  • Mii Golfer
  • Mii Party Host
  • Mii Deity

Battle Rules[]

just like every smash bros game before, you can customize each match with your own set of rules and stipulations, and just like in ultimate you can save the rule sets you perfer the most like if you want a 3 stock, no time limit, smash balls only rule set or 99 stock, all items, level 9 CPU only.

There are dozens of options on how to set up a battle, here are your options

Stock: you can have from 1-999 stock per match.

Time Limit: you can set a match timer from 0:30 to 5:00 or even to Infinity

Match Type: you can set up either Stamina, Coin, Hyper or Berserk matches and each one has different gameplay.

  • Stamina: get the opponents HP to zero to K.O them.
  • Coin: attack players to knock coins out of them, the player with the most coins at the end of a battle wins.
  • Hyper: every character has no end lag on their moves, characters can spam up special as much as they want and every character is over powered but almost uncontrollable.
  • Berserk: makes every character gain super armor and hyper smash attacks but they wont be able to jump they can only move up via their up specials.

Items[]

ever since smash bros inception each game has had a gaggle of items that the players can shoot, throw, equip or power themselves up with.

Stages[]

Smash bros has always had a diverse selection of arenas to fight on, and this game is no different we have provided a lot of new and returning stages and we even took the liberty of fusing similar stages to create one mega stage to fight on similar to a stage like 3D Land or Yggdrasil's Alter.

Story Mode: A World of Hurt[]

Welcome to the story mode A World of hurt.....dont think too much about the title.

In the world of hurt a new villain rises called the Barron of Glitches, a malformed, eldritch abomination that only wants to destroy, kill, mame and consume all the know code in the video game multiverse and beyond so its up to the fighters and the player to journey through platforming stages, labyrinths and sub-space to confront the barron of glitches and stop him before every single living byte of code is deleted forever.

Just like with subspace emisary you will be traversing dozens of hand crafted levels to platform and fight your way through, but unlike subspace emisary the enviorments are a lot more bright and colorful compaired to brawl and actually are based off of existing areas.

Cut Content[]

Blossom Bowser and Cosmetta where cut due to them being fan made mario characters and would feel out of place in smash bros Pokeball Pokemon are cut and replaced by pokeballs to capture opponents The Original Story Mode concept was a wreak-it ralph based story where they would break the 4th wall and have a chat after every stage but ulitmatly was scraped in favor of a less complicated story mode
