The Recursion Bro. is a Hammer Bro. subspecies that throws other Recursion Bros., which then throw other Recursion Bros., which then throw other Recursion Bros., which then throw other Recursion Bros., ad infinitum.
They have an obligatory Sledge Bro.-style sister species, known as the Quine Bro.. No, we don't have any clue as to why every fanmade Hammer Bro. subspecies needs a Sledge Bro. version when that's not even the case in canon.
Appearance[]
Recursion Bros. largely resemble the standard Hammer Bros., apart from their armor, which is lazily recolored to a reddish-purple.
Instead of holding hammers to use as attacks against Mario, they instead carry an infinite stash of other Recursion Bros. This technically makes each Recursion Bro. a fractal.
Behavior[]
For throws by Recursion Bros., a Recursion Bro. population size will equal .
This mathematical behavior continues until either of three scenarios is reached:
- every Recursion Bro. is despawned.
- the console runs out of memory.
- a flood of Bros. eventually take over fantendo.fandom.com. This itself convinces AgentMuffin (t∣b∣c) to make a joke article about Recursion Bros., which creates a new Recursion Bro. and thereby restarts the process.
